10 Best Pizza Restaurants near Blakeslee

“We were looking to buy a slice of pizza on the go and went into the Brick Lounge and ended up having to sit at the bar and ordering. I'm not sure if the other store front of La Roma was more of takeout but we saw this door first. There are a good variety of pizzas that are ready fairly quickly in 15 min. The 12 inch had 6 small slices but it was a perfect lunch for 2. Bartender was really nice. There was no tap water available however and she poured a bottle of water out for us and then charged us for it, which I wasn't expecting when she offered to substitute it. It's a dim bar with blasting AC and a chill place to enjoy decent food and drinks.“

“Easily best pizza on the mountain. I grew up in North Jersey where good pizza is everywhere. I now live near Philly where good pizza is in North Jersey. We also have a place up here near Lake Harmony, and this is by far the best. 2 things I would improve, but will not knock my score, get a better location as most of the store fronts are abandoned. Secondly, the slices are way better than the whole pie you will take away. Employees here are friendly and have table service. Reminds me of most of the hole in the wall pizza joints I grew up on... and that's a good thing.“

“When my Jeep grenaded it’s serpentine belt I pulled into the owners lot where I was greeted by Don and Vicky, they looked at my car, insisted I come in to stay warm and even gave me a few pints to take the sting of breaking down away! It doesn’t hurt they like the Steelers either! I will be back soon for real with my wife to say hello“

“I live in New York but have parents that live in the Poconos and visit them regularly. For the longest I always went to other pizza places nearby. But as of recent a lot of them are under new ownership and the pizza has really taken a turn for the worst. This place calls themselves the best pizza in town so I decided to give it a shot based on the reviews and the self proclamation. I was pleasantly surprised because the pizza is definitely the best in Blakeslee/Poconos. I ordered a large pie with pepperoni and mushrooms and it tasted very good. Its not NY pizza. But I would have to agree it's the best around. Not only that but the entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I placed my order over the phone and even the gentleman who took my order was very courteous and they even sent me an update to my phone letting me know when my pizza and other food was ready.However I took a star off because this place is incredibly pricey for the area. It's actually more expensive than the pizza place by me in NY. I paid $11 for a chicken salad which although tasted good looked like it was made from bagged salad and the cucumbers inside were soggy and not fresh. As this is a pizza place I can't really complain too much about this as most people don't go to a pizzeria specifically looking for a salad.This will be my new pizza place moving forward for my visits and I will be coming back here again for the pizza.“

“Been by Cosenzas hundreds of times and finally decided to give it a try after I learned of the vegan options they provide! Though I am not vegan, my girlfriend is so finding places that we can enjoy is a bit more challenging.I saw the "vegan pizza" on their marquee and looked it up on Google where I found an abundance of vegan praises so we had to give it a try.We were not disappointed at all! Half the customer area is set up like pizzeria style and the other half is a nice dining area. Waitress was attentive and got us started. When we checked the menu the only vegan food we saw was the pizza. From what I read on Google I knew they had more options so I asked and good thing. They have a completely separate vegan menu so you'll likely have to ask if thats what you are looking for!Vegan menu was decent as it is but the waitress also told us that if there is something we want vegan, and they have the ingredients (from their vegan menu items) then they will likely make whatever we wanted. (i.e. if we wanted a vegan cheeseteak pizza, which isn't on the menu, they will add the vegan "beef" along with peppers and onions or whatever and boom, vegan cheesesteak pizza).I got traditional ravioli and meatballs and it was great, no complaints whatsoever.We will definitely be back and I hope the other foods we try are equally gratifying!“

“We have been patrons for over a decade. Their food is good, hot, and consistent. The sauce is a bit on the sweet side, but we like it that way. Order a Sicilian with peperoni, fried onions, meatballs and sausage....the 903 way. You won't be disappointed if you like a little sweeter sauce. Thanks for all the years of great food!“

“On vacation and ate at the Tennis Club in our neighborhood. This must be a tight knit community because most of the tables had upwards of 10 people at them. The staff and customers that we talked to were very nice! “This place is great the staff are friendly and the food is good and constant in flavor. They also have tables to sit in as well . My top favorite dish here is the Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and broccoli. Just add a dash of Parmesan cheese and black pepper and it's even more “

“I traveled 1 hour to Valario's last Friday for dinner, after having not been since 2019. The beers were fresh, the pizza was absolutely delicious, fresh and cooked to perfection and the service was great. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. I will be coming back for dinner again and I would recommend this pizza pub to ANYONE. I forgot what a gem this place truly is.“

“This place is under new management for more than a year and what a difference. The pizza is absolutely some of the best in the area and the garlic on the crust is a nice touch. The food is prepared fresh and the area is clean. The pizza is made in many different ways and is customizable with multiple toppings and types in the same pizza. Oscar and Milo have really brought an upscale pizza to the mountains. The chicken bacon ranch is a local favorite and the taco pizza is loaded with toppings.
