“Tonight was our first visit and it was an excellent experience! All my son wanted for his birthday was to go have sushi so we decided to try Sapporo, and it definitely won’t be our last visit. I don’t eat sushi or anything but decided to try the chicken fried rice, it was the best I have had in a long time! My son ordered the seared dragon rolls and nabe udon soup and he is still talking about how much he loved both. Pricey, but well worth it. The service was prompt and the servers were all so kind, and attentive. Thanks for a great first visit!”

“When I walked into the Dixie diner, I was immediately transported to the day my grandfather took me to a diner in the 60s. The decor, the food, the friendly service was like being in a time capsule of that day. All good! I went back and brought my grandchildren, who loved the place and the stories of their great grandfather. I go back now every chance I get.”

“We have gone a few times and always the food was amazing. My son always ask to go here. We went yesterday and the food was amazing as always except for one of the desserts that was very watery. The only thing we didn’t like was the service this time. The lady seems upset and didn’t seem to want to serve us. I even asked for which pie flavor was the best and her response was I don’t eat pie. Very sad this happened because its an amazing place. They just loss a customer.”

“Love this place. We go here about once a month. Would be a lot more but it’s about an hour round trip from us. It’s still worth the drive every time. The Cheese Steaks are by far the best in the Tri-State. I go to Philly every now and then for concerts and sporting events and I would take Rocky’s Cascade over anything in the city.

My fiancé always orders the Snow White Pizza or The Stuffed Shells. We always get Cannolis or Gelato for dessert. We’re also big fans of The Colossal Mozzarella Sticks and The Cheese Fries.

I have introduced some of my family and friends to this place and they all loved it too. It’s also very close to beautiful Fort Ritchie as well as High Rock. Highly recommend visiting those places before or after you eat at Rocky’s.

The owner is very active on Facebook. He has a funny sense of humor. You should follow them so you can keep up to date with their many deals throughout the week. I always keep an eye out for The Cheese Wiz Cheesesteaks and the Cooper Cheesesteaks.

I should have made this review a long time ago, but I’m making it now because of the great experience I had last night. Had an order to go and one item was the Cheesesteak with hot pepper relish on the side. They accidentally put the relish on the sub. They noticed their mistake and corrected it by making me a brand new sub with relish on the side. They let me keep the mistake sub for free! I was lucky enough to have Steak subs for dinner 2 nights in a row lol. It really shows their dedication to customer satisfaction.

Thank you guys for the extra sub, I really appreciate it.

“I haven’t had a meal I don’t like here. It is consistently good. My favs are the California Salad with a side of salsa, shrimp and chorizo quesadilla slathered with sour cream and guacamole, and the nachos del sol with the quac of course, yum! All the locations are consistent, good quality food, comparable in price to everything else these days, always leftovers and good heated up. Others like the lasagna and chicken parm and Cuban panini. Atmosphere isn’t bad, but it’s like a lot of places now, tall ceilings, large open areas, poor acoustics, and it can get loud, but mostly it’s been very enjoyable.”

I wish all people were as kind to him in the world as the whole staff was today. His mom is currently in surgery and he’s very anxious. “We needed a dog friendly place for a meal while in the area. It was a hot afternoon, so we were the only ones in the patio area. There was no table service for ordering, so one person had to go inside to order and pay. Not sure what someone traveling alone would do. I ordered fish and chips. I couldn't believe what I was served.Two extra crispy small pieces of fish that looked straight out of a Mrs Paul's box and into a deep fryer for a long time. It was truly terrible. My friend's burger was an odd color and she said it tasted like they threw a frozen patty on a grill. No flavor. There was an odd wafting trash or swamp odor in the breeze which wasn't surprising from the run down appearance of everything outside the patio fence. Really not a good experience.”
