Pump Station Cafe Reviews
I don't believe in supporting a company that hires and supports employees who abuse children.
Came across this very cute coffee shop on our way out of Boalsburg headed home to CT. Great menu with delicious food, coffee and drinks excellent. Very nice change of pace from the well known chain coffee shops. Staff was very accommodating and helpful
great food, good atmosphere, terrible management and horrible customer relation skills. They were in violation of many "enforceable " cdc and governmental covid policies but yet decided to ruin my visit because I had no mask. They didn't even show how much my business is/was/or would be in the future appreciated by first asking me if I had a good reason to not where one. The staff just became rude. Very unprofessional.

Pump Station Cafe is a great spot for breakfast or lunch with a friend. The food is delicious, especially the Spiced Chai Latte. Located in an old 1940s era gas station, the cafe has a unique charm, featuring the old Gulf sign on display. They serve great homemade baked goods and coffee sourced from local vendors, which look really good, although not everyone has tried them. The cafe offers a drive-through service and has outdoor seating for nice weather, making it convenient for different preferences. Parking is easy to access from the main road, and sitting outside provides a good view of the church and the ability to see your car. The sandwiches are really good, including the popular jumpstart (bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich) and the Power Train sandwich on rye bread, which features delicious flavors. The wait time for orders isn't very long, though service can sometimes be slow, with orders taking more than 8 minutes to be ready. While prices have increased over the last few years and can be a little high, customers feel they get a decent amount of food for the price, making it a good value. Service is friendly and pleasant, perfect for a relaxed study or work session. Overall, it’s a cozy and charming place that offers a nice atmosphere and outdoor space, making it a better choice than a typical Starbucks or Dunkin’, with the added convenience of a drive-through. It is also located near Historic Boalsburg, the Memorial Museum, and local parks, making it a great spot to enjoy a coffee and a walk on a sunny day.
