“Fresh off a doubleheader sweep at the nearby sports complex, our baseball team was riding high—but after two games, we were also starving. Enter Turano’s Pizza & Grill, who came through in the clutch like a grand slam in extra innings!

We called in our order between games—30+ pizzas—for pick-up as soon as the last out was made. When we arrived just after 9 PM, every pie was hot, fresh, and ready to go. That’s Hall of Fame-level service!

The food was amazing, but the atmosphere? Next level. Between the friendly staff, the generous hospitality, and the live music drifting through the air, it felt like we had stepped right into the heart of Italy. We honestly wish we could’ve stayed and soaked it all in—but the bus was calling, and so were the leftovers.

Turano’s didn’t just feed a team—they blessed us. It was a beautiful reminder of what it looks like to serve others with joy (Galatians 5:13). From start to finish, they hit it out of the park.

We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town—win or lose (but hopefully win).“

“We just got two large pizzas for our first visit (both were Detroit style - the Motown and the Greektown). For only two people eating, we have almost a whole large pizza of leftovers and let me tell you, I cannot wait to eat them tomorrow. The Motown is the best pepperoni pizza that we have ever had and we are major pizza fans in this family, so that says something! For my Greek fans, I highly recommend that Greektown pizza, so flavorful and don’t even get me started on the crust! 😁“

“Ordered for the first time this past Friday to try their new menu. My 14 y/o had the lil’ Rita and said it was “so good it’ll make a grown man cry.” My 9 y/o had the mini plain pizza. She’s not usually a fan of pizza but ate 2 slices, so I guess that means she liked it. My husband and I did olive and pepperoni. I love that they use kalamatta olives instead of black olives! The cheesy bread with the garlic butter was also delicious! We’ll definitely add them into our pizza rotation.“

“I just had the French onion pizza at Poseidon Pizza, and wow, it was incredible! The flavors were on point—super cheesy with that perfect mix of sweet and savory. The crust had that nice crunch, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. What I love most is that you get this top-notch quality without spending a fortune. “I have ridden by this so many times and never knew about it until some friends told me about it and then all of a sudden here comes JL Jupiter's video. While I didn't get pizza (I wasn't in the mood), my other half and I got a cheesesteak (wit wiz) and a cheeseburger platter. The cheesesteak was good but it just felt like it was missing a little something. 7.5/10. The burger (reviewed by the other half) was a 7/10. It was fresh and all the toppings (lettuce, pickle, tomato) were fresh and tasty but the roll was too big for the burger. He doesn't like not being able to see the meat on the bun 🤷‍♀️ (again, his portion of the review, not mine). He said the roll was fresh but maybe not the best fit for the burger being sold.

The fries...omg!!! They were so fresh, so hot and PERFECTLY seasoned. The fries were some of the best I have had...and I LOVE fries 🤣

“Lucy’s has been a staple in the community for years. Every time I come back home I order either a salad or a sub. With this review it was a sub. I ordered in the phone which is super hard to do bc the line stays busy. Definitely should invest in multi line phone service lol. Love that they have the XL sub rolls. Clean establishment, small interior but has a second floor for seating and outdoor seating as well. Friendly staff and fast service. In the middle of a busy area (Trolley Square) and across from a shopping plaza and near a supermarket. On street parking.“

I always order a basket of fries to accompany my meal, and they never disappoint. But it's not just the food that keeps me coming back. “Nice setting in the countryside. Lots of outdoor seating and dogs are welcome. The food was okay but I wouldn't recommend their Reuben. There was very little meat. Maybe two teaspoons at best...mostly sauerkraut and cheese. I searched my sandwich to try to find a little small chip of meat to give to the dogs. It was definitely cut so tiny and spread so thinly, that I couldn't even find any. The fries were awesome. Crispy and tasty. The bratwurst was good as well. They have live music inside as well which was a nice touch.“

I cannot tell you how dull and tasteless and swamped with greese so many of the "New York style" pies there are in this part of Delco, but Apetidos is definitely the exception. Very good pizza. For whatever reason I haven't ordered often from here, but that's going to change!
