“We had the Crab ravioli and shrimp pizza. Both were excellent! The pasta of the ravioli was light and beautifully presented. You could taste the crab and the sauce had a fresh tomato taste.
The shrimp pizza was also delicious. The crust was crisp and also light. You can't go wrong with either choice. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely be back again.“

“Great little pizza joint for a quick lunch or dinner. Its similar to Mod in its layout and form but these guys are the original quick custom pizza company that Mod copied off of. As such, the variety, quality, etc of the ingredients and the service itself is substantially better at SNAP. Everything tasted fresh and the crust itself was a better dough. “My wife and I ate here last night (6/27/23), after dropping our son off at St. Joseph's University orientation, and generally speaking, it was fantastic. Our waitress, Jen, was at the forefront of why our experience was so positive. She was attentive, and really engaged us in conversation. We split the cheesesteak eggroll appetizer, which was delicious. For our entree, my wife got a salad with a giant meatball (don't know the name...sorry, LOL). I went with baked lasagna, and I felt the portion was more than enough. I typically finish everything, but we brought a little bit of lasagna home, along with what was left of her salad. We couldn't pass up dessert, and there was a lot to choose from. We settled on the zeppoles, which did NOT disappoint. The 3.5% charge to pay with a card, isn't ideal, but it is clearly stated, on a sign on the hostess station, as soon as you walk in. If that's a possible dealbreaker, there is a cash machine in the restaurant, if you want to pay with cash. We would (and probably will, at some point over the next four years) return!“

“Franzone’s has my favorite pizza. It’s thin crust. It’s a sweet sauce. It’s delicious. They have a great menu although I love the pizza so much that I usually order pizza. They have a full bar. They have a parking lot. They have TVs which were all playing The Masters today. Bethany was our server today. She was friendly and attentive. We’ve been going to Franzone’s for over 20 years. They are celebrating their 70th year anniversary.“

“We love Slices and Rolls. While we don't keep strictly kosher we will choose kosher if it's available. Slices and Rolls make it an easy choice because it is not only kosher, it is DELICIOUS! There are some kosher places in the area that if one isn't strictly kosher, one knows that they *only* stay in business because people don't have an alternative. This is *not* true of Slices and Rolls. Their pizza is objectively good - certainly the best kosher option by miles and competitive with any standard pizza shop. It's not fancy but it's good.

I can't say the same for their sushi - specifically because I can't eat it. I have an allergy to corn and they use rice vinegar mixed with corn vinegar in the rice which even if you don't have a corn allergy gives you an idea about the commitment to authenticity. My husband who has eaten it is not so excited to eat it again. Because we aren't strictly kosher (but avoid eating where non-kosher animals are prepared if it's reasonably easy) he prefers to get sushi from the Philadelphia Fish and Lobster Company which is delicious and which I can eat because it uses fully rice vinegar.

“Amazing food!!!! My son and I were on our way back home (DC area) and wanted to get food in the way back. Why go to fast food or subway when we are in the area of amazing steak and cheese hoagies? Turns out it was on our way home so I ordered myself a steak and cheese and my son a meatball sub (with fries.) I could only eat 1/4 and even the next day it still tasted amazing! The meat was juicy and flavored, soft bread, and fries salty and delicious. My son ate all of his in about 10 minutes. Would love to return again. This time to get pizza. When I went into the restaurant, the pizza smelled so good. I was thinking maybe I should get some. But that’s a lot of food lol. Great place - seems like a hometown favorite for many people eating there and the amount of people I saw come in for pickup.“

Closing Thoughts: My only slight complaint is their location—farther from us than downtown Phoenixville—but Skippack is truly a fitting setting for such a gem. “I moved to PA from NYC 20 years ago and had pretty much given up hope of ever finding good NY-style pizza in the area. I just tried the grandma and grandpa style pizzas and they were AMAZING. The crust was thin and crispy, there was a lot of flavorful sauce, and the cheese was gooey. Pizza perfection!“
