“These ppl are down to earth and their sandwich/ chip selection is top tier! They also accept food stamps for the deli, which is wonderful for us blue collar folk. 🫶🏾

“We just picked up a meatball, Italian beef and a patsy( Italian). Absolutely fantastic! The Italian beef with the homemade giardiniera is definitely the best I've ever had! The Italian was packed with quality meats sliced nice and thin with fresh lettuce, tomato and onions. The homemade meatballs and sauce were also fantastic! I could go on and on about the quality and taste of the sandwiches or how friendly everyone was, but you have to try it for yourself! You will not be disappointed!! How could I never have been here???? I can't wait to try the rest of the menu! ♥️ 5 ⭐“

“Another awesome spot for food in the strip district! This is a place to get both Polish classic hot foods as well as other imported items like candy, drinks, teas, meat, and so much more. I got to try their cheddar potato pierogies as well as a chocolate wafer, apricot drink, and kvas from the store part.
The pierogies were great. Warm and fluffy on the inside. Filled to the brim with potato and cheese. A bit oily, though. Good amount of onion on top without being overwhelming, and a solid price for the portion. Definitely delicious.
And, all the items from the store were great too. The wafer was pretty basic for the price, but still good. Great apricot drink, super refreshing. And the kvas…I missed this a lot. So good, great price honestly.
All in all, definitely stop by if you are in the Strip District!“

“First time ever going here and if I lived closer we would go once a week. Got a turkey club and it was delicious. Also got the Provolone wheel, they are delicious but the size of a baseball, I dont know how they do it, my kids and I love them. Will definitely go back when in the area, dont know if it was normal workers or owners but they were nice, good people. Someone i was with also got a cheese steak hoagie and he is picky and said it was delicious.“

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. I would strongly recommend this location for really first rate Italian food and a great atmosphere“

“Mrs. Gretchen waited on me. Made me a Hot Cajun Turkey sandwich w/Provolone cheese L.T.M.&banana peppers. EXCELLENT!!! They have plenty of drinks and Deli meats and Cheeses to choose from. I went for the Natural Casing Hot Dogs. Pasta Salad was💥... Wednesday Home made Meatballs sandwiches are the Best!! I missed the Reuben Thursday. Friendly Service, Good Food with your hometown brands. I didn't get of Mckees Rocks before that Sandwich was GONE😅

“The bread pudding was the best thing we ate for dinner. My husband and I disliked the meatloaf. It was spicy! Who would have thought? If we hadn’t loved the bread pudding we would not recommend the restaurant. We also thought that the meal was pricey for what you get (the meatloaf anyway)!!“
“I ordered the Ham & Turkey Christmas Meal. Everything was delish! The sides I ordered were corn bread stuffing, gravy, green bean casserole, & mac 'n cheese. Everything was outstanding!! My family loved it and we had more than enough with so much leftover. I plan on ordering every year!“
“Clean store with kind staff. They serve hot breakfast sandwiches in the am and make hot / cold subs and sandwiches throughout the day. Snacks, wine and beer are available as well. They have done a good job bringing this place back to life since huckleberry’s.“

“Isaly’s Ice Cream is a true Pittsburgh staple for a reason. This was our first time trying it, and we were not disappointed.
You can get your own pints at Giant Eagle, Kuhn’s, and Shop ’n Save. Definitely will be purchasing again!“

“Red Onion has quickly become a family favorite! From the pizza to the GARLIC BREAD, the Philly steak wrap to the linguini salad to the wings, we have NEVER had a bad meal. Red Onion is on our table once a week.“
