“We had our wedding rehearsal dinner for twelve there last Friday evening. I had made the reservation with Doug, the very nice owner, a month prior after he graciously showed me the restaurant. At Doug's suggestion, I called ahead that day to have some appetizers ready when we arrived and they were there, hot, fresh and delicious when my guests arrived. The restaurant was very busy but the food and service were excellent. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and drinks they ordered. Farrah, our server, was friendly, pleasant and efficient. “My wife and I celebrated our 20th engagement anniversary this past Wednesday. In January 2006, I told my wife, back then girlfriend, I'd buy her a ring when the Steelers win the Super Bowl. It was the elusive one for the thumb - Super Bowl XL. I proposed the night before the big game at the overlook on Mt. Washington. We celebrated immediately after at the Grandview Saloon and had a wonderful night!

I did the same thing all over again 20 years later and the Grandview Saloon was excellent! Our meals were beyond sensational! The service, atmosphere, and view of the city made for a perfect evening!
