“We called for delivery and waited an hour and the driver still hadn’t showed. We called them and they said they were very busy and we would have to come pick it up. At first I was angry but then I got there and saw how busy they were. The lady was very nice and gave me 2 dollars back and a free 2 liter of Pepsi and was very apologetic. Food is great but sometimes you just need to be patient when they’re slammed. It’s a small restaurant.“

“I ordered General Tso's combination platter, Boneless Spare Ribs and Vegetable Lo Mein. The food was ready in less than 15 minutes. The lady on the phone was helpful when I ordered and clarified each item. I was there at 8:30 pm, the parking lot was pretty dark and most stores were closed on the strip mall where the store is located. There's a laundry mat and seafood restaurant on opposite sides on Mr China. Cars park along the sidewalk in the front of the stores to pick up their orders. Be careful pulling in and out. After I parked I witnessed a car pulling in as a mini van was pulling away from the curb, they b nearly collided.Parking lot hijinks aside, I recommend the food at this restaurant.“

“I got the barbecue ribs and the flavor is great, I'm not a big fan of peas in my fried rice but their fried rice is okay. The soup looks really good, and they gave me the crispy wonton noodles. They also let me swap my egg roll for a spring roll which I prefer so that was really nice. The people that work in that shop are super nice and very helpful. I found out that they do actually deliver within a 5 mi radius. I think it'll be easier for me to order delivery next time parking was a bit of a pain.“

“Hello China wok, I am the guy who orders the, General Tso's ☯️ Chicken 🐔 with no rice regularly. I decided to try your location because, my wife and I wash clothes in that location. I am a student of Martial Arts for many years and a Trenton firefighter, so I have a lot of respect for the Chinese people and the food. I had to see how well the food and business were in that location. Honestly, the cleanest Chinese Restaurant in the Area that I know of, Bathroom, Service and food 😋. Well done. “Great NY style Chinese food with generous portions. Staff is very nice and seem to genuinely want their customers to have a great experience. Comfortable indoor seating is available but there is no air conditioning. Seems to mostly be for takeout and items are packaged with care.“

“My wife and I order from China Express at least once a week. My wife has conversations with the young lady who seems to always be there answering the phone and ringing you up at the register. She is very friendly and the food is great! I'm working late today and actually picking some up tonight. It is just my wife and I, as the kids are out of the house now, and we always order more food than we could eat, but it is so good the next day.

Parking: They do have tables and chairs to dine in but most people like us prefer to take-out as we live right down the road about 10 minutes from there. With people picking up their orders, there is always parking and never a wait for your order.“

“After our go-to place sold to new owners during covid, we had been struggling trying to find a Chinese spot that actually had good food....then we found Joyful Garden. We have ordered more items than we normally do just to try out different things amd everything has been excellent. The only thing that wasn't a hit with my husband was the honey wings....he didn't care for the sauce on the wings and texture of the wings. Otherwise this place has great food, at great prices. Clean good/ newer strip center bordering Westhampton and springside Road . She knows how to run a business and everyone loves her food. I wish I could go back more often, but the economy is killing me. Love the way it’s decorated not your typical type Chinese looking restaurants. My husband got vegetable chow mein and we also got a side of vegetable fried rice. The sezchuan tofu was probably the best Chinese takeout I've ever had. It wasn't too spicy to eat but had enough kick to make my sinuses clear. The fried rice was too sticky and didn't seem fried. It was lacking in seasoning and flavor but the vegetables in it were big and chunky. My husband's chow mein looked great but lacked sauce. It was all fresh. I'll def be back for the tofu dish.

But if you notice the dishes they prepare aren't Chinese food it's American food just cook their way and the texture is great. The chicken is crispy and the beef fried rice is good as well I also love the shrimp and broccoli ?? general tso chicken with yellow fried rice. the ribs isn't up to my standard .really haven try any other dishes yet but next order I'll try the egg foo young . I have not had Chinese food this good before. The white rice was fluffy, the beef and broccoli was tender not chewy, and the sweet and sour chicken was super flavorful and not tough or soggy! The eggroll with pork and shrimp was amazing too. Honestly the egg roll, chicken lo mein and sweet and sour chicken were probably the best I’ve ever had and I recommend those.
