“My first visit to Georgine's was in 1987, after my that first experience, I would make the 50-minute drive with my family and friends many times a year. Life got busy, and it's been a little over 7 years since my last meal at Georgine's until 2 weekends ago. I was surprised how much the interior hadn't changed. The decor looked the same, but it didn't look worn down. It was clean and inviting. Our reservation for 6 people was at 6:30 p.m. we arrived at 6:25 p.m. and we were seated at 6:30 p.m. sharp. It was a Saturday night. The bar at the entrance was busy, and all the tables around us had customers. Our server greeted us warmly, but she apologized for not arriving sooner because she had 3 tables seated at the same time. The menu had a nice selection overall from the appetizers to the entrées. I thought in the past they had pasta selections, but this menu did not. That was okay for me because in the past I my favorite menu offering at Georgine's was their selection of steaks and the different ways they prepared them. I ordered the Clams Casino as my appetizer, and other people at my table ordered Lobster Bisque, Snapper Soup, and Minestrone Soup. All the appetizers received stars with the exception of the Minestrone. My wife had ordered the Minestrone, and she didn't care for it she said it was more like the consistency of a Chili rather than soup. She didn't send it back, but she only had 2 spoonfuls. For entrées I ordered Steak Neptune (Filet mignon topped with lump crab and hollandaise sauce). I loved the freshness and the amount of lump crab meat. The sauce was nice, and the steak was very tender and cooked perfectly medium as I ordered. My only complaint was the steak wasn't bigger! I remember ordering Steak Neptune in the past and having a hard time completing my meal. This time, it was over too soon. 4 stars. Other entrées at my table were Boneless Chicken Breast (Plump breast grilled to perfection with seasonal vegetables and topped with a dab if garlic butter) This recived 4 stars, it was juicy and the portion was perfect. 2 orders of Steak Diane (Chef's cut of filet with mushrooms and a rich brandy demi-glaze) my friends said it was very delightful the male wanted more when he finished the female thought the portion of steak was fine. 4 stars. Chicken Parmigiana, my wife, enjoyed the taste very much. The cutlet was thin, but it took up the whole plate. She was very happy with the taste and she couldn't finish the large portion so she had a nice lunch the next day. 4 stars. New York Sirloin Steak, out of the 4 steaks our table ordered, this was by far the biggest. My friend was satisfied with the taste and the tenderness of his steak. With our entrées completed, it was on to dessert. We ordered the following. Dark side of the Moon Rich chocolate layer cake (to satisfy chocoholics). 4 stars Hot Apple Pie Served with vanilla sauce or choice of ice cream. 4 stars. Creme Brulee A chilled rich custard topped with a texturally contrasting layer of hardened caramelized sugar. 4 stars. Reese's Peanut Butter Pie Creamy peanut butter, chunks of peanut butter cups on a graham cracker crust. 4 stars. New York Cheesecake. Served with melba sauce, fresh sliced strawberries. This was my order, very small, and it didn't seem homemade. stars. We all left happy that we made the trip back to Georgine's, and we all agreed we need not wait so long to go back again. I did notice a person at another table ordered a plain Filet Mignon that was way bigger than the Filet served with the Neptune. So on my next visit I'll order the Filet Mignon and pay extra to have it Neptune style. I can't wait!!!“

The lunch menu has great options and it is cooked to perfection. The bread is exceptional. The past is homemade and fresh. They are located in historic Bordentown on Main Street. The dinner menu is more expansive and looks fantastic. They do not serve alcohol so it is BYOB. The mussels were wonderful! Highly recommended!“

Our server was a you g guy sorry I don't remember his name he provided great service to a large party, I notice him make a wine recommendation for my cousin which he loved he was very professional in every aspect of his service with the exception of my request of linguine instead I received spaghetti or angel hair, as a server I am hyper critical, I didn't say anything besides complain at the table, otherwise everything was delicious especially the appetizers and were extremely filling. As well as the entrees, were giant portions and the specials sounded very interesting as well. It was packed when we arrived, and parking is pretty easy, make sure you have a reservation.“

“After missing 3 dates to come here for lunch, my wife and I finally drove an hour to this cute restaurant, located in a strip mall in Newtown, PA. We arrived early but were seated nonetheless. Two things struck us both. First, upon being seated we were immediately served a cold vertically sliced carrot salad with vinaigrette. So fresh, earthy and delightful! We shared an antipasto of red peppers with mozzarella. Again, the freshness of the ingredients delighted us! My wife enjoyed cavatini with vegetables, and I ordered the Rotini Osteria, with a side of broccoli rabe. The portions were so large we couldn’t finish, so we both packed up our dishes to finish at home. Can’t wait for dinner! But we still needed to test out a dessert, so we shared limoncello cake. To die for! The second important characteristic of this restaurant that caught our attention were the smiles on all the employees faces. The employees were...well...working...so no warm greeting.Since the place was recommended by a few folks, I ordered a Tonno Tuna sandwhich. It contained VERY little tuna. For $10.95 I guess I was expecting at least half a can of tuna on it.I guess WaWa and Gaetano 's have my expectations too high ?. The hoagie roll was fresh and tasty so next time ( yup, next time) I'll grab the pre-made stuff.Overall not disappointed but now with a different mindset.“

“Toscanos is one of our favorite places to dine. It's more expensive so we usually go once a year with the family. The food was awesome as always but It was extremely loud in there, very difficult to hear our server speak to us and for us to have a conversation at our table. I have been known to spend $40.00 just in tolls to get to my favorite pizza place, so obviously, pizza is very dear to my heart. Pizza Pie 2 is right up there with places I would drive to for some tasty pies.Very nice size portions and excellent, personal service just adds to the experience. I live 100 miles from here. The only thing that would improve my experience would be if they opened another resturaunt around the corner from where I live. This was a birthday dinner for my wife, who is Italian, so if we were going to an Italian restaurant, I wanted to be certain it was authentic. Indeed it was. The atmosphere was lively-many diners enjoying their meal, and many in groups of 4, 6 or more. The food was amazing. My wife and I shared a dish in which slices of cheese were cooked and bathed in rich "red gravy." My wife then had a seafood mixture with spaghetti and I had veal parmigiana with angel hair pasta. Piccolo offers a lengthy list of pastas to choose from. Both my wife and I were delighted with dinner. The sauce or red gravy was rich and tasty, and her seafood and my veal were just what we wanted. The food has to be better than home to be satisfying, and this dinner was. The waitstaff provided great service, even though they were busy and seemed to never stop working. Everything came out on time, and any request from a little extra cheese to a large spoon for twirling the pasta was met cheerfully and quickly. Piccolo Trattoria is tucked away in a shopping center in Newtown. I am delighted to be able to give this restaurant one of the best recommendations I have ever written, and I urge you to visit. My wife and I will definitely return. Oh, not to forget, this is BYOB so bring a fine bottle of wine without having to pay double the retail price or more.“

The restaurant let us come an hour early to set up and decorate. “The place does not look like much from the outside, the inside is the a cozy dive bar. Awesome super friendly staff kept our drinks and bellies full. The bar is big and had locals and regulars. They were friendly as well. There are a few high top tables and some seating in a small dining room. The food was surprisingly good. The steamers were in a delicious light garlic sauce. They had a chili special the day we went. The chili was hearty and good. The tony sandwich was great. The roll was super soft but not mushy soft. The taverna pasta was huge. Pasta with chicken,shrimp, scallops and crab in a blush sauce. They have live bands and karaoke and trivia on certain nights. Will definitely return for some of the other menu items that seemed good.“

Great Italian seeded rolls I believe from Corropolese. The Sicilian hoagie one of best I've had anywhere. The quality and selection of meats and sharp provolone used are fantastic. Super fresh, thin sliced and well-made with a perfect ratio of bread to meats, cheese and toppings. Both of the steaks were fine chopped, very tender and made to order. Well worth a visit here.“
