“The place does not look like much from the outside, the inside is the a cozy dive bar. Awesome super friendly staff kept our drinks and bellies full. The bar is big and had locals and regulars. They were friendly as well. There are a few high top tables and some seating in a small dining room. The food was surprisingly good. The steamers were in a delicious light garlic sauce. They had a chili special the day we went. The chili was hearty and good. The tony sandwich was great. The roll was super soft but not mushy soft. The taverna pasta was huge. Pasta with chicken,shrimp, scallops and crab in a blush sauce. They have live bands and karaoke and trivia on certain nights. Will definitely return for some of the other menu items that seemed good.“

My favorite meal has been osso buco. I also like the different chicken or veal options over a choice of pasta service with soup or salad. I always get the soup. Their minestrone is very good. My meals have been usually good to great with the exception of my last visit when I got Chicken Maximo serve with old ruddy small asparagus pieces and a watery tomatoe based sauce. I will skip that in the future.“

Drinks were perfectly made and the lavender lemon creme bruele was the perfect finishing touch. We didn't have to wait long for our order to come out either. Only complaint was that there was a group celebrating someone's birthday so it got way too loud, otherwise it was a perfect evening.“

“The food and service at this place was amazing! We had calamari, brussel sprouts and the sausage and figs for an appetizer. They were all delicious! The bread is wonderful too - very fresh. For entrees, the 3 of us had the chicken parm and 1 had the salmon special. Portions were huge! The chicken parm is thick with a nice crispy breading - the tomato sauce is a little on the sweeter side which I love. For dessert we had the creme brulee cheesecake which was delicious as well. The only drawback for us was it was very loud in the restaurant with 2 large parties behind us (it wouldn't prevent us from going back though - the food was so good!) We felt bad for our waiter because he was basically shouting at us so we could hear the specials. The service in the restaurant was awesome. The servers/waiters were very attentive. We all had our drinks refilled promptly and our bread basket wasn't empty for long. We truly enjoyed our night out with our family. We'll be back again.“

I am aware of all the variables that go into crafting a fine pizza pie and I must say, for $12.99 I was very impressed. This place makes a very fine pizza pie. High quality ingredients and craftsmanship is obvious. The crust was great, textured bottom, not too thick/thin, soft, chewy yet crunchy too. The sauce had great flavor and balance of sweet/salt/acidity. The cheese was a little greasy, however the flop was minimal. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants GOOD PIZZA!
