After a terrible night at Mitchell's Steakhouse next door, please see their review in parentheticals (Let's see, where to start, well Mitchell's supposedly has a dress code, but you really couldn't tell by the amount of people who were wearing hoodies, sweats, and the amount of loose women wearing cat suits and ripped up jeans. Taken from your website, Mitchell's Steakhouse enforces a strict upscale dress code. We do not allow beachwear, gym attire including sweatpants, sweatshirts or hoodies. Athletic apparel, jerseys, hats, beanies, bandanas, ball caps, oversized or baggy clothing, tank tops, and sleeveless shirts are prohibited. No excessively revealing clothing will be allowed. Clothing emitting offensive odors is not permitted to be worn anywhere on the property. This is not a true statement nor policy. Considering the fact that the gentleman at the next table over went outside and smoked marijuana and came back and sat next to me smelling like a skunk. Then there's the service aspect. I honestly could have eaten a full meal across the street in the time it is taking to get my filet, 72 minutes and still counting. Finally, having to wait almost 28 minutes just to have a refreshment, doesn't speak to any award winning experience that I've ever had. Terrible experience especially when you claim to be the best offering award winning experiences. UPDATE: Serving cold food was the literal icing on this cake. As Gordon Ramsay would say your food was trash, your service lacked direction, and your chef needs to return to a culinary school to learn. Waste of time and money. McDonald's serves hot food, perhaps you could start there.) There's their terrible review I left, Paula and Due Amici made up for Mitchell's disaster by exemplary service, delicious authentic food, and an absolute passion for making their customers feel right at home. We couldn't find any good pizza for about 15 20 years then we moved from Philly to cinnaminson. OMG. FINNALLY We never order from anyone else. Just brick oven in cinnaminson. “Pat’s has been a staple for our house for years. The #1 pick for both my wife and I are the Wally salads. I’m not a huge salad person but I would choose this any day. Everything tastes fresh.

The Chipotle chicken flatbread is also really great. That chipotle sauce drizzled over it takes it to the next level.

They also have great wraps. My favorite are the Southwest Chicken wrap and the Caesar Chicken Wrap.

I definitely don’t want to end this without mentioning their house-made chips. My wife and I had loved them since we started ordering and we’re excited that they’re finally available as a separate side.“

FOOD:
Already from previous reviews we knew we were getting the cheesesteak, which was PHENOMENAL. It had a creamy cheesi-ness to it, but not the fake stuff. All well quality cheeses that enveloped the ribeye spectacularly.

The pizza was just as tasty and look at that sturdy hold! It did have a lot of balsamic, just FYI if you find that intense. That being said, the freshness of the arugula and prosciutto was delicate against the crunch of the pizza. I highly reccomend adding some red pepper flakes to give it a nice bite!

The truffle fries were well coated and not drenched in a crazy ton of oil like some other places I've had. Parmesan distrubted evenly on the fries, and what a heaping amount for the price! (FYI- will be charged for cheese sauce with it- but also worth it).

Let me tell you about the cannoli cake and espresso though. The sponge was delicate and airy, the cannoli cream smooth and rich, but not so over powerful that it took over the sponge. The espresso, rich, with wonderful depth but not bitter and overly roasted, just beautiful.

The service was also just as amazing. We brought some prosecco which they opened and provided us glasses for.

Can't wait to return to this gem!

“The homemade pasta is really excellent. The texture was perfectly toothsome. I got the cacio e pepperoncini (vegan option) and it was quite good, though the sauce wasn’t my favorite. It felt very oily and I’m not sure if that’s a product of veganizing the sauce. I loved the tangy spice of the pepperoncini though.

The shishito peppers were good, but fairly standard blistered peppers like I’ve had at many other restaurants. The almond / mint sauce was quite nice though.

The plates are generously portioned.

Vegetarian options: They have a few vegetarian options that are clearly labeled. They also have clear labels for dishes that can be made vegetarian or vegan.“

“It was a great evening and the food was awesome. I had the evening special of Tartaglia with crab meat, spinach and mushrooms in a cream sauce, and my wife had the farfalle with shrimp. They were both wonderful and we shared the black and white mousse cake for dessert. The place was quite busy and there was a large birthday party in the front room, but even with that it was only moderate noise levels. My only issue was our seating was in the hall in front of the entry door, though as it was busy already not too many came in to disturb our dinner. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a nice night out, with excellent food.“

But still excellent very tasty hats off to the Chef who has been there since I was a child in the late 70s early 80s. Back when they wr near the location of the current bank in the shopping center see picture below johns bought it from a family who used to sell burgers. “We just had our family Christmas dinner here and the staff was amazing! They were so friendly and on top of everything. The food was delicious, even our 1.5 yr old grandson couldn’t stop eating everything. The manager was the absolute kindest man I’ve met, our reservation was running a little late on their end and he made up for in such a nice way to our family plus thanked both our sons and daughter in law for serving in the Army. “The food was excellent!!! I was there for a 40th bday party and we all ordered different foods and everything was amazing! The food came out quickly and our server Eloise (sorry if misspelled) went over and beyond. It was a lot of us and she served us without any attitude, went above and beyond making sure our food and drinks were good and she was just absolutely pleasant. There was about 15 of us and we ordered a lot of food and our bill was way cheaper than we expected. We did go at lunch but the dinner prices were not that much different. I’m not from the area but I know that everytime I’m out there, I know where to go for Italian food!“
