“First time visiting, ordered online. Sadly ended in disappointment. I ordered the Detroit slim and based off the picture on the website it looked to have pepperoni on it, so I ordered it with a drizzle of hot honey; note: there was no option to add pepperoni so I thought it was safe to assume that it would look like the picture—Well, next time I will not assume because I opened it up and it was glorified cheese sticks with drenched in hot honey.“

We had the focaccia with meatballs and the polenta fritters for start, followed by the lumache and the dirty martini pork chop. For desert the chocolate tart is mind blowing. Chef James went around during the dinner and is a top-notch guy, very friendly. Will be back many times for sure.“

It was a Sunday evening and not many establishments were open however we were fortunate Vitale's Italian Bistro was the exception. “Had dinner at La Strada on Thursday evening August 23th.
This was my third time for dinner at the restaurant with a perfect Birmingham location!
Each time it just gets better!
Andre our very knowledgeable and interesting server was excellent in every way!
The food and wine recommendations were outstanding.
There was no rush and sat in the comfortable lounge area after dinner.
Everyone is very gracious and accommodating!
You feel like your in a old italian town piazza, while sitting inside their beautifully decorated European feel/vibe dinning room!

Would also like to sincerely thank Zharko chef/owner for putting everything together in such a traditional old world manner and presentation.

With out a doubt you have to experience La Strada!!!

Entrees: Miso glazed sea bass or filet with stuffed lobster tail both Devine! Dessert: Chocolate heaven flourless cake and salted carmel creme brulee were heavenly 😋 Our waiter Griffin was wonderful and very knowledgeable, especially since we needed gluten free options. Highly recommend and will be going back!!“

“My niece had her law school graduation party here the other night and the entire family, 21 of us, cannot say enough about the excellent food and service that we received. My elderly mother and I were early when they were still setting up, and they welcomed us with open arms and got us some coffee because it was so rainy and cold. The food was excellent. We had many courses, and my sister-in-law said that they were extremely accommodating and offered many choices at a good price for the menu. The owner was lovely to work with. I cannot say enough about how excellent the food was as was the superb service that we received from the entire team. They were on every need amidst a very busy restaurant while navigating around walkers and people like absolute pros... with a smile on their face the entire time. I sincerely hope that the owner and staff see this review.“
