“Giumarello’s Restaurant was delicious! The martinis were great. Appetizers: crab stack with mango salsa and avocado or saffron mussels with shrimp, Yumo! Entrees: Miso glazed sea bass or filet with stuffed lobster tail both Devine! Dessert: Chocolate heaven flourless cake and salted carmel creme brulee were heavenly 😋 Our waiter Griffin was wonderful and very knowledgeable, especially since we needed gluten free options. Highly recommend and will be going back!!“

“My family and I enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the entres. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread (very cheesy)and mussels in spicy red sauce (5 of us and it was still some left over) as well as the Mahi tuna. Everything was very tasty. For the main we ordered customized Flatbread, burger, prime rib sandwich, seafood pasta and blackened chicken alfredo. Food was great and came out in a timely manner. Staff was very friendly. I would def come again.“

The service was amazing throughout the meal, I wish I got the servers name as he was really an incredibly friendly young man who clearly knew the menu very well. The atmosphere is wonderful and the interior is just lovely. In terms of the food, I had the wild boar bolognese which was a special that night, and it was AMAZING!! Really, all the food was impeccable, from the focaccia to our mains. Super pleased and the next time I’m in town, I will most definitely be coming back!!“

“I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and we had a great experience. The ambience was nice, the staff was friendly, our waitress was attentive and the food was good. The manager Timothy Fisher stopped by our table twice to check on us and as we were on our way out, he ran up the stairs to hand us my girlfriend's purse which was left at our table. “Worth the wait. This was our last Philly Michelin m-starred restaurant to try. It’s the absolute best. The food was extraordinary and I’m already dreaming of my next meal there. My particular favorites included the buckwheat tart with morels and both pasta courses (one was an add on). Sadly I will now never feel satiated unless I’m eating Chef Schulman’s triangoli. A beautiful and intimate space with incredible care by the entire staff. Amanda Schulman was incredibly welcoming and engaged with the diners. Wine pairing was outstanding as was my Negroni made with Bruto Americano. The marzipan rhubarb cake was the stuff dreams are made of. So, so, so happy after this meal. Did I mention? Attentive and wonderful, wonderful staff. Thank you for an amazing evening!“

“This place is great! Service was great and our server/the staff was so attentive. Food was delicious, the family style is perfect in terms of serving sizes! We got the tuna crudo and squash arancini for starters. Then we got the mushroom tortellini, penne ala vodka, and the chitarra with meatballs. Dessert we had like a white chocolate pudding, and an apple pastry. Everything was delicious - our only complaints are that the mushroom pasta was slightly over salted, the peas in the penne felt a bit too hard and undercooked, and the desserts were a bit too sweet for my taste. Our favorites were the tuna, chitarra, and arancini. I recommend making a reservation but we walked in and sat at the chefs table (first come first serve) and it was so much fun watching them make our meal (shoutout to the chefs working tonight)! Note: I cant speak on regular serving sizes and their affordability/value since we only got family style.“

“My family had dinner at Albertinos today for my mom and husbands birthday. Because there was 9 of us they require a fix price meal for each person. This price includes an app, main, and dessert - anything on the menu. The service here is outstanding. The food is better than anywhere else in town, and for me- the best Italian I have ever had. Dinner for 9 of us took about three hours. To me, this is amazing. There was no rush. They made sure everything was perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy our time. We have been there two other times and have had the same waitress. The daughter of the owner (Jsut another plus). She is bubbly and kind and makes sure everyone has a great time. We preceded to reminisce about family in Upstate NY,, of course food rolled into the conversation,. That’s how I came across Nonna Lena’s Italian Cuisine. I stopped by the restaurant by myself a couple of later.. Thought I’d get a quick lunch fix. Wrong! My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I the chief my plate of Eggplant Parmesan. What a wonderful freshly made dinner (plus leftovers for 2 extra meals). The staff all were very friendly. Chiefly came out to see how I liked my meal. He shared some details about the newly open restaurant & homemade recipes, etc. He mentioned breakfast was also served and somehow in the conversation he decided to send me home with a sample of sausages & gravy along with my husbands meal. OMGoodness, the next day my breakfast was fantastic. Foodie’s note. Their food is prepared fresh from scratch daily😊. Don’t past by Colonial Beach Va. without dinning at Nonna Lena’s Italian several times.“
