“I normally don’t give reviews. I am amazed such a hidden gem is close to my home and I came upon Marco by chance. I wanted something different and sophisticated for a party. Was I surprised? Celebrated my husband’s birthday ?at Marco’s in Pennsauken. Great service started from making a reservation for our group. They listened and when we got there, set up was good. We had a golf course view as requested. Nice clean place. Handicap accessible which was a plus. Our waitress Michaela was very nice and attentive. Food was served elegantly and tasted superb, crab cakes actually had chunks of real crab meat. No fillers like other places. Steak was cooked just right. All in all our guests had a fantastic experience. Thanks Marco’s for excellent service and food. We will surely be back.“

The chicken parm is tasty. I love the seeded rolls, takes it up a level. This is a 15 min drive from my house and will make the trip for the delicious cheesesteak . Called the order in route and everything was ready when I got there. Pricing was good. Sandwiches big enough to share.“

We didn't specify for naked or regular. The pizza was good, and the garlic sauce they put on was excellent. The crust has a nice flavor and it's not too greasy. The only knock I have was the cheese. It's not as stretchy or as tasty as you would expect. That's not to say it was bad just not as good as other shops in the area. This was our first time in.Regardless I'm going back for more!It is under new management, and they have a new expanded menu.“

One of the best pastas I've had in Philadelphia. The lamb shank was just ok. Unfortunately I just recently had it at another Philly restaurant and it was so much better. Barramundi which was a special was a huge disappointment. I've never seen so many things added to a fish dish to overwhelm what I consider to be an amazing fish. This is my second time at this restaurant where the entrees feel short. Stick to the appetizers and pastas. Service was outstanding.“

Truly a gem. From the music soundtrack, to the amazingly attentive service and all female staff, to the intimate dining setting, to the passionate chefs who took the time to ring the bell and explain every single dish in detail, to making every single person dining in that room last night feel so welcomed and last but not least, to the thoughtfully curated dishes and empty plates left behind begging to be licked - what an epic dining experience + one that both my husband and I will never forget. So happy Presidents Day (Monday) allowed me the opportunity to make it to a dinner during the week. However, we spent over $800 between the two of us with tips included (with the tasting menu priced at $215) which I think is way too overpriced. The wines especially are overpriced, for 150pp I would expect more upscale wines than what was on offered. We ended up going with a Barolo instead which was more reasonable but still $170 for a bottle. For these prices, I would expect Michelin 1 or 2 star quality food, which it wasn't (as nice as our meal was). Very well done meatballs 9.3, the chicken Spiedini was well cooked, a little small but that’s expected, the salsa verde is to die for. The focaccia is crazy good, like absolutely amazing, it’s perfect for two, aswell the honey butter delivered a sweet and savoury addition to the salty fresh focaccia 9.8. The Agnolotti was not my favourite, I am not a mushrooms person so this missed with me, however if you like mushrooms this is a great pasta to try 6.8. We had to make a slight change in order for a vegetarian, and they had no issues. We tried their breakfast sandwiches & lunch sandwiches, and each bite was jam packed with substance & flavor (I mean, just look at the layers in my photo.) Fresh ingredients, and an overall quaint/bright spot. This would be an awesome place to post up and get some work done, do some people watching, and enjoy delicious food. Not to mention, their baked goods looked out of this world. We wanted to get so much, but I landed on their passion fruit donut, partly because it was the last one left (so I figured something must be good!) And let me tell you, their dough is different. The donut was dense & fluffy at the same time, and their passion fruit flavor was y-u-m-m-y. I can't wait to go back to try more sandwiches and get some grocery shopping done!“

“Great food & drinks! My boyfriend loves That Nicholas Cage. Like coming here for a late night, fancy stop. It’s very small & cozy. Bartenders are cool. Definitely on the pricey side (food that is). The cigarettes are a cool touch. Although I don’t smoke, “

“the food was pretty good, the place is pretty nice and you need a reservation but i wish there were more option for appetizers especially because they were out of octopus when i went and that’s what i wanted. they were out of a lot of other things including chicken. i also wish they toasted their bread but the olive oil was so good.Dietary restrictions: the waitress specifically asked for all of our dietary restrictions before taking our order“

“The chicken was so tender and delicious that I really wanted 3 more helpings but went for the amazing butterscotch pudding dessert! The Brussel sprouts were crispy and deliciously tossed in balsamic vinegar reduction. The pasta was served perfectly al dente which ever sauce you chose. The pomodoro sauce was just superb! It was just a little tight but otherwise the atmosphere was great as was the staff!!Parking: Best to park in the lot just off of 3rd and Bainbridge as trying to find a spot on the street is near impossible. The lot was convenient and close by, less than a block away. $15 for as long as you want on Saturday or Sunday or weeknight after 5pm. Worth it for the impeccable cuisine!!“

“My wife and I went here for Valentines Day. The ambience and service were fantastic. The food was average and nothing to rave about. I received the Chicken Parmigan and it was nothing to special. The sauce was not that great and the cut of chicken was average. My wife had the gnochi and it was also okay. I would not return here in the future because we have had way better quality food in other restuarants that are BYOB.“

“A very fun and unique experience. This members only club has a speakeasy style for access. Everything we had there was top notch. Highlights for me: the lamb chop, the gnocchi, crab pasta and the espresso martini which had 24 hr churned brown butter somehow infused into it. If you know someone with a membership, you should really try to go.“

“Came to Murphs on 2 occasions and had drastically different experiences service wise. My advice is to come on a weekday and early with the exception of Tuesday when the kitchen is closed.1st visit: Came on a Saturday evening. Wait was out the door but was told a table for 2 would take an hour and half. Ended up taking 2.5 hrs but we stuck it out and only got lucky because a bar seat opened up which is open for anyone walking in or on the waitlist if seats accommodate. However this caused miscommunication with the host and the bartenders because they were also cutting off the kitchen for any new walk ins so even though we were seated and on the list prior to cut off they basically paid us no attention in regards to drinks or foods. After 20 mins and finally clearing up the situation we were able to order but most items were already sold out. Luckily the items we wanted, aside from the appetizer, were available. The food was really good but the overall experience was a terrible way to end our night and in my opinion hindered my opinion on the food itself at the time. I could sense the workers were spent based on how busy it was but it would have felt great not feeling invisible after a 2.5 hr wait and when 2 customers have nothing in front of them while 3 bartenders pace the bar.2nd Visit: Came on a Thursday evening and there was still a waitlist but not nearly as long as before. We were told 45 mins so we came back in 30 to ask for an updated wait time. There were 2 groups in front of us on the list and only a 4 seater table available so we stood by the bar. This awesome dude from behind the bar asked us if we needed to be seated to which we told him we were still on the waitlist. The guy said to not worry about it since there was no one else waiting and sat us immediately at the open table. Both our server and the host came over in light speed and were extremely hospitable in every aspect to the point that I was shocked considering our last experience. The same app was still sold out but this experience made me genuinely enjoy the everything in its totality and makes me want to come back until I get to try the fried smoked mozz.Aside from the differences in service the food is consistently solid. Perfectly cooked pasta, great sauces, great desserts. Cash only but decently affordable for the quality of food in my opinion. I wish I got the names of everyone who was part of the experience on our second visit. Certainly deserved the tip but would have loved to have acknowledged them personally for making our dinner so enjoyable.“

“True old world Italian cooking artistry. Opened in 1899 Dante and Luigi's is one of the oldest restaurants in Philadelphia PA. It is certainly the oldest Italian eatery in Philly. Cozy with well dressed wait staff and old world decor. The food tells the story here. I have eating there since college. I took my dates there when I was 18. I go for the food. Delicious is the keyword. Savory tomato sauces, tender meats and exquisite desserts if you have the room after eating your meal. On my recent visit I had pasta fagoli and a side of roasted peppers and provolone to start and their homemade lasagna for the main course. Everything was scrumptious. Even though I was bordering on I can't eat another bite I had the tiramisu for dessert. I couldn't resist. Dante and Luigi is easily my favorite Italian restaurant and a cut about the rest.“
