“What a wonderful dining experience! I live in Monmouth County and on 3/3/2024 was visiting my brother and sister-in-law who live in Marlton. They suggested Allora as they had previously enjoyed the food there a number of times. Our server, Steve, was by far one of the most accommodating servers I've ever had! I have an aversion to certain grated and "smelly" cheeses. Steve was exceptionally considerate of my "issues" and checked the ingredients of the dishes I wanted with the Chef to be certain that my needs were met. I ordered Wild Shrimp and Crab Fra Diavlo made very spicy over homemade rigatoni. It was DELICIOUS and very spicy as requested. The shrimp and crab and lobster bisque special was exceptional. Everyone else at the table also enjoyed the food. I am looking forward to my next meal at Allora. Would you consider opening a restaurant in Monmouth County????? There's always room for another good Italian restaurant, especially a BYOB! Thanks again for a great meal! Harriet C.“
“My sister and I enjoy eating our Dungeness crab legs at Marcos. The atmosphere is nice the music is not overwhelming and the service is great. Most importantly, the food is amazing!!!!After Covid, I have been to restaurants and the service and food has gone down hill. But not Marcos, their food and service was/is great both pre and post Covid!“
“Stopped in today on my way to a friend’s house to see what all the hype is about. Absolutely blown away by the Chicken Parm with Vodka sauce. Old school fresh cutlets on a fresh seeded Italian roll paired with a fantastic Vodka Sauce. 10/10 recommend you stop. Well worth the 30 minute drive!“
“Our first time there. Was with a party of 13 on a busy Friday night. The main dining area was crowded and very loud, but we still had a great time. The food was tasty, and there were no complaints at our table. Our servers Jacob, and Teresa were excellent!“
“I don't understand why white table restaurants need to blast music. All classy style restaurants keep the music at a very very low volume, so guests can have the ability to talk to one another across the table in a normal tone of voice, rather than resorting to speaking louder or asking one another to repeat themselves. Luckily, our waiter was kind enough to ask management to lower the volume of the music. Stop treating fine dining establishments as Sports Bar!! Please.“
“Lascala's has pretty much taken over as the new Redstone. If you liked that crowd you'll like this one. They have a Dj on Fridays which is awesome. Drinks are very good and bartenders are awesome. Best truffle fries ever! The one thing that's off is that they never cook the pizza right. Never. Even if you ask for crispy. Not sure why a successful company like Lascalas can't pull off a pizza but they can't“
“They do not deserve such a low rating. Their cream of crab soup is worth 10 stars on its own! I believe it is real crab meat too, not imitation. It is even good cold! Had some leftover and ate it straight from the fridge--like gazpacho! <3“
“Best pizza around. We live all the way in Hainesport, but when we want good pizza, we drive to Scotto's! They always have a wide variety of pizzas available for slices (I love the buffalo chicken pizza), and they have very fresh salads too.“
