Not a single thing hit our table that we weren’t 100% impressed with. The after dinner drink he suggested was perfect. Monte negro or something I can’t remember but it’s wonderful. “This is our first time to Philadelphia and we are big Stallone/Rocky fans so we were excited to try this restaurant where some of Rocky Balboa and Creed was filmed. This was one of the best dining experiences with phenomenal entrees, excellent staff, beautiful atmosphere and amazing entertainment with the wait staff breaking into operatic song!! 10/10 recommend!!“

“We dined here while visiting Philly for the weekend. We managed to walk in, but the restaurant is small and intimate so a reservation is probably best. It is also BYOB, so remember to bring a bottle of wine if you want something to drink.

The menu is clearly marked with gluten-free options, making ordering easy. Our server asked about allergies upfront and was confident handling the request when we noted my partner has Celiac (we mentioned it as a gluten allergy to the staff). We ordered the seared duck leg confit and the steak au poivre, and both were excellent. My partner had no symptoms the following day. We did not ask specific questions about shared kitchen space, but the clear labeling and great atmosphere made for an excellent dinner.“
