“Went last night with two friends for my birthday! I think our chef said his name was Gino! He was great and our waitress and the food was great! My only complaint was that the music was blaring so, we couldn't hear what anyone was saying and we really could even talk to each other!!! It took away from the experience since our chef was saying things that we couldn't hear. I did ask three different staff members if they could lower it to no avail. We don't think we will go back there again! We had to keep asking our waitress to repeat herself and that got to be exhsusting😣“

“Great experience at Tako Sushi! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. I especially loved all the dishes with eel; they were truly top-notch and full of flavor. “Incredible neighborhood place who punches above their humble surroundings. All of their food is fresh, flavorful and delightful. Rich ramen meals, great noodles dishes and I just had their sushi for the first time. man oh man, it was perfect: not overly done with rice, plenty of rich cuts of fish, fruits and veggies, and sauces that did not overwhelm. Light and full of flavor. And their seaweed salad? Addictive. Go, or order to take out……you can’t lose.“

“Popped in a hibachi lunch with my DW during the Sutumn Festival here in town. Excellent food, and the hibachi lunch is a steal at 16 bucks for the filet mignon. Not a typo, you read it right. A bargain. They serve it 11 to 3. It is pictured. Includes the miso soup, also pictured.
Friendly and courteous wait staff. The spicy yellowtail roll (pictured) was very good. The pictures do not do justice to the good presentation. The Wasabi kicked butt.
If you're in Moorestown for lunch, definitely give Akira2 a try. Great value for price paid.
Update April 2026...went for an early dinner and Akira did not disappoint. The Samurai roll is outstanding, and the hibachi seafood for 2 is a screaming bargain. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. You simply won't go wrong here. Important note: BYOB.“

“Been there twice and each time the rolls Ive tried are tasty. Even when it was busy and lunch time had more guest, the wait for the tasty delights were served in a timely fashion. The place is clean, easy listening music plays in the background. Will definitely visit again in the future.“

“i was there today at dinner time, for the special Wednesday deal 6.99 chicken teriyaki... for the food quality and this price, hell yeah !!! they was pretty busy, but after 10 -15 min , i got my food fresh cook and delicious!!!! the lady are very kind, the chef are nice they ask me if i want extra sauce and stuff. i will definitely come back !!!“

“I've been coming here 15 plus years. Did take out last night. Food is always good, sushi is fresh - consistency is the key here. Lady who owns and her family are the nicest people. Can't go wrong here for eat in or take out. Very fair prices as well. Highly recommend.“

“I really enjoy Yamoto! Lol we went once by accident looking for our other Sushi spot & found this one. I haven’t got lost since & forgot about the other place. My 9 yr old niece says I’m obsessed with the shrimp fried rice & she’s right. The staff are so kind & I only hope food & service stays the same-:)“

“Tucked away in a small shopping center, very easy to overlook, sits a gem of a restaurant. They have multiple cuisines to choose from, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai. The footprint of the restaurant is small, but it is so thoughtfully arranged and decorated. I wish I had found this place sooner and will definitely continue to visit.“

“This place deserves a 10/5 stars. We used to live in the area, and go to this spot religiously. We now live 1 hour 30 minutes away, and we still come here as often as possible because no other place makes food like them. If you had a bad experience, you were just having a bad day. You need to come again, and just enjoy.“

“I always order from here, and they never let me down! The staff is super friendly and the food is AMAZING, so flavorful !! I really recommend all of these : spicy crab roll, tofu pad Thai, veggie dumplings, veggie spring rolls, general tsos dinner, and their miso soup is so good too!! Please never leave this location.“

“I really like this restaurant. They have decent food for a restaurant in the suburbs and a nice atmosphere. I’m just giving 4 stars because last time I was here one of the workers was rushing us out even though we were done eating already and getting ready to leave anyway. They close at 2:30 pm to get ready for dinner and we were done at 2:32 and one of the girls came over to tell us they are closed. I am an avid restaurant goer and have never experienced this in my 37 years. Usually people give you at least 10-15 minutes to wrap it up. Staff need to work on congeniality.“

“Osaka sushi is my go to spot in the area for sushi, I have had great experience with the quality and taste of the rolls. They are my favorite take out sushi ever, I’ve been ordering here for my large family for years. I highly recommend. My favorite roll is the sexy girl roll, and the seaweed salad is delicious! I saw their reviews for some reason coming in under 4.5 and that really surprised me so I wanted to leave a review and recommend it!“
