“I ordered lunch for my family, for take out. One item was loaded potato puffs. They came with a very small drizzle of sour cream and a few small pieces of bacon. most were dry and plain. Very frustrating as this was my husbands only food he ordered and will be eating 😔“

“Treated ourselves to this place we saw on diners driveins and dives after shoveling a whole bunch of snow. The atmosphere is great, packed especially for a winter storm day. There were only three servers and one of them had to bartend as well, but food and drink came super fast. They are doing the best they can!

Got their brunch special with duck (which is absolutely delicious), a veggie burger, French onion soup (urgently needed in this weather), 1 cocktail and 2 desserts. Total came up to $77 before tax and tips. Great deal. Totally worth walking half an hour in 20 inches of snow for.“

“This is mainly a review of their catering but the bar/restaurant is also a great place to visit!! We hired 2637brew for our holiday work party this year and I am so impressed with the entire experience. Everything was so easy, so enjoyable and of course so delicious!!! After submitting my inquiry for catering on their website, Mino called me right away to discuss our options and created a custom menu based on our budget, expectations, and dietary needs (vegetarian options). This was a rather late inquiry in my opinion (only 2 weeks before the event!!) and Mino assured me that everything would be just fine - and it totally was! We had two staff from 2636brew at the party to assist. They brought spring rolls, spanakopita, salad, meatballs and rolls, coleslaw, blackened chicken and alfredo pasta, and so many veggie options! Everything was outstanding! So many people were raving about how good the food was. And they brought a perfect amount of food. She even took care of our bartenders which was so nice!! Our venue did not have staff to work the party, so I had asked Mino to stay at the party to help maintain a clean space and they really helped to keep on top of the mess everyone was making! It was a HUGE help because I was able to enjoy myself and not worry about the clean up during the party. There was not much clean up at all by the end of the night. Their service was incredibly friendly and welcoming! Meeting Mino actually felt like she was a long time friend. I'm SO GLAD that we decided to work with 2637brew for this party.. they made the party planning so much less stressful and made me look like a star for pulling off something so wonderful! A HUGE thanks to them! As a side note - I also live in the area and went here for brunch the other day and was just as equally impressed with their location. The food was awesome! I ordered the Rancheros (I think that was the name on the menu) it was a bacon wrapped avocado with egg baked in it and some beans and salsa on the side. SO good and so pretty! My friend ordered Lobster Benedict and we also shared a plate of Bananas Foster french toast and ....you guys....!!! The caramelized banana slices and the crispy warm bread with melty vanilla ice cream ughhhh it was so amazing!!! Brunch is definitely recommended here! And service is great, I never had an empty mimosa glass :) Try this place out - you're going to LOVE it! I'm lucky to live so close and can't wait to visit more regularly!“

“Do not, I repeat, do not sleep on this place!!! Oh my goodness gracious!! Me and my husband just had dinner here and I can’t say enough great things about the food, drinks, atmosphere, service!! Hubs has the ribeye special and let me tell you, thins thing was the size of his face!! He’s got a large face!! Came with mashed potatoes and fresh steamed green beans, he gave it a 15 out of 10!!
I had the simplest of all things, cheeseburger and fries, don’t judge! This burger was no less than a half pound of juicy, delicious and well cooked beef! Not that frozen patty crap either, FRESH ground beef, made to order and piping hot!!
The drink selection was plentiful and just as yummy!! Vodka cran for me and IPAs for the hubs.
Live music capped off the evening from a very tale talented guy with a guitar.

“Great food, delicious, & so many options. Large draft beer selection. The only drawback was noise level. Group of guys were so loud that you could not have your own conversation. Suggest groups be seated in adjoining room. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend a visit there.“

“We absolutely love the Westgate Pub. We recently had my daughter's first holy communion party in their private room and it was spectacular. Our server was great, the food was delicious, and the party decor and planning was beautiful and out of this world. Sue goes above and beyond with her decorations at Westgate. “Went in early Saturday night with a larger group of friends. They directed us to the small bar on the right of the entrance and we had a fantastic time. The service was great, our bartender was friendly and efficient. The drinks were DELICIOUS! My friends commented it was one of the best espresso martinis they’ve ever had!“

“The restaurant definitely deserves its own review! The staff are fantastic and super personable. My wife and I were here for 31 days in April/May of 2022, and we had breakfast here almost every morning. We try to stay all-natural with food, and they were willing to work with us. We provided an organic Olive Oil spray, and they would use that on our omelets. They never made us feel like a hassle or burden, and we loved getting to know them, especially Rhonda and Trupti! At times they had nice Chobani Yogurt, and they always had great apple/orange juice options. They also had Franks hot sauce and cream cheese packs that were SOOOO GOOD on the omelets :)Can't wait to go back and enjoy the food and friends again!“

“This place used to be my favorite but it’s gone down since I first started coming at least ten years ago. It took us almost 20 mins to get cashed out and even longer to get a drink from the bar. They didn’t have wings the last time I went and the back bar was closed. They need a Philly School District Calendar to add extra staff when there will be an early dismissal“

“This was our first time at the mermaid inn. When they first seated us, they put us all the way in the back near the kitchen which I was not happy about but I asked the hostess if there was a different table that we could move to and she was able to switch us to a much better location. The waiter was fantastic. He was so personable and had great suggestions. I had the fish tacos which were good and felt like a lot of food. My husband had the clam chowder and lobster roll (Connecticut style /hot with butter instead of with mayo and cold). We didn't have room for dessert. The drinks were sweet but good.“
