“The bartender was really nice, we ordered the pretzel with the cheese sauce ( I think the sauce could be better but it worked out), a cheese pizza, the chicken Philly cheese steak and the spicy chicken sandwich. everything was good and to our liking. We enjoyed the environment, the food and the people taking care of us. I will definitely be back during our next visit to Philadelphia.“
“Awesome experience. Very clean, open and overall fantastic. The dogs had plenty of room to roam and were pleasant. Both the waitstaff and management were fantastic and the food is amazing. Best brussels sprouts I have ever had, and that should tell you about the rest of the menu. Highly recommend!“
“good beer selections and one of the best burgers I've had no I can't remember how long. For real best in region ?♥️Went again last night with the family. Our youngest turned 21 and wanted to go to Lucky's. The staff made him feel special. Very cool“
“Absolutely thrilled with my recent visit to South Philadelphia Tap Room! The highlight of my meal was, without a doubt, their Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The soup was a perfect blend of tangy and creamy, with just the right amount of seasoning to elevate the fresh tomato flavor. Paired with a golden, crispy Grilled Cheese that was oozing with melty cheese goodness, it was comfort food at its finest. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff only added to the exceptional dining experience. A must-visit spot for anyone craving a classic with a gourmet twist!“
“delicious food 10/10 all around, we got the sardine board and the fries and the pickles and loved every bite... we got extra bread for the sardine board tho and extra pickle dip for the fries, very glad we did so. and for drinkies we got the #15 carbon copy narragansett lager such a good beer so chocolately and creamy wow? thank you sardine bar“
“Captain Morgan and Charity (the woman Cap'n Morgan was training that night) were an awesome duo. I haven't been to P. J Whelihan's on at least 20yrs, and I've never been to Oaks, where I'm writing this review. But, I must say that this was an awesome experience and I'll definitely be back. My brother turned me on to the Oaks spot. Thank you for making it worth my time and effort ?“
“Took my kids to Next Door for dinner tonight. It was our first time trying it. Their menu had a great variety & options for all ages. The food did NOT disappoint! It was all so good! Best I have had in a long time. Service was great, very friendly & on point. Food was delicious. Best crab dip & raviolis I have ever had. My kids loved their food too! We all shared a little of each dish & couldn’t decide which we all liked best. Also very reasonably priced. I expected a higher bill & was pleasantly surprised with that as well. Very impressed & I would highly recommend! 10/10 from myself & my kids!“
“⭐️4.5 - Amazing food that was incredibly unique! Only reason I can’t give 5 full stars is due to the atmosphere/ambiance.?Absolutely loved the food and wide variety of unique options.?Wonderful service. Restaurant was packed but we felt that the server was still attentive and didn’t rush us.? Get the mystery seltzers!! So fun. Happy hour deals are *okay* - 3⭐️. We realized that not everything on the happy hour menu is actually discounted.?Restaurant needs a better playlist! Or at least louder music. The atmosphere was a bit off. You could too easily hear neighboring conversations.“
“Great food complemented by even better service! Our server, Erinn, went above and beyond to give us a pleasurable experience. My son has several food allergies and Erinn went out of her way to ensure all of our meals were handled with attention and care. She provided service that is difficult to find elsewhere- we will be returning for her!“
“As a vegetarian, I often struggle to find meat-free brunch options that can compare to traditional items. Sidecar Bar is the best brunch i’ve had in Philly! I got the Hippy Benny and it was PHENOMENAL!!! The ingredients were fresh and the potatoes were incredible. I went with a large group and some other favorites were the pancakes, the breakfast flatbread, and the Texan Benny. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat while still remaining casual and family friendly. Our server was friendly and attentive and it was all around a great experience! Definitely make Sidecar Bar your next Philly food destination!“
“Always our spot. Amy, who is our usual server is great!Vegetarian options: Buffalo cauliflower is amazing!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and gluten free options available!Parking: Parking wraps around the side and back of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming atmosphere and comfy booth seatingWheelchair accessibility: The back entrance allows for wheelchairs.“
“Too good for Roxborough? This place is too good for just any neighborhood destination. So visit anytime you are off I-76 or hiking the Wissahickon or just looking for better options than those down the hill in Manayunk. Excellent beers and great food with fresh ingredients.“
“Silence at the table? That's a good sign at Teresa's Cafe! My party of three enjoyed a relaxed and delicious meal. My burger had chewing in silence, while the steak and salad reports were equally rave. This cafe knows comfort food - fresh, flavorful, and silencing conversation in the best way possible. Definitely recommend!“
“I visited on a thursday with my buddy who goes often. Being a workday night it seemed pretty active yet still a relaxed environment. Bartenders were very friendly and attentive, additionally the wings were great. Will definitely return.Parking: It is south philly so obviously parking is a bit challenging, but I was able to find plenty of spots about a block and half or so away.“
“A wonderful 5-star lunch experience ! Coming back from a mid-day center city concert, decided to stop in @ Tavern On the Hill rather than MacNally's...SO glad we did ! Bartender Mackenzie couldn't have been better : super-efficient AND super-personable ! I've had many excellent meals here before, lunch and dinners, today was no exception. Straying from our regular menu favorites ( tough to pass on the always great burger or turkey'n' brie sandwich),we both had the same "special"...a smoked kielbasa/ kraut sandwich. Not an item I'd usually rave over, it was just perfect...the best I've ever had. Great kielbasa, nicely toasted roll, homemade-tasting kraut...and even a high-quality tasty brown mustard. You just won't go wrong here... where else would somebody rave about a kielbasa sandwich ??? Can't wait to return for lunch OR dinner...“
“This is our favorite go-to date night spot! Their signature cocktails are excellent and the food never disappoints! I look forward to trying their weekly specials when I am looking for something new and I cant leave without getting their fried cauliflower appetizer. I love bringing friends to try out this great local spot!“
“Had the best service from Diane and Julie. I mentioned i loved sweet drinks, Diane sent Julie to speak directly to me . She took the time to ask me what flavors I loved. The level of personalized customer service is great. My drink was amazing. Thanks Julie and Diane.“
“I love this place. The food is great - I had ricotta ravioli in brown butter sage sauce - delicious. Friday and Saturday nights can be crowded with a great mix of people - but they do have a side room in case the energetic mood is too much.“
“My wife and I moved from the area a few years ago and our recent trip back to F&M really made me miss it. Gregg (if you're visiting just ask him where to go...he might know everyone) and Mel couldn't have been better (she knew how to pour a snyt!!) and what seemed like an entire bar of friends almost convinced us to move back. I usually use Yelponly to check for hours and byo status but I felt compelled here to show some love. Oh yes, and the beer. It is the tops.“
“We’ve had dinner twice there over a few months and the food is very good. I had tacos one night and the beet and kale salad the other, both very good and reasonably priced. Great selection of beer and good service, it’s nice to have a local spot that . I only give 5 stars for extremely exceptional dining, but for casual dining. They are a 4+“
“I was trying to go to another spot to grab a bite but their kitchen was closed. That’s when I stumbled upon Station Tap. Small, quaint but a gem.I ordered two of my favorite items: nachos and garlic parm wings. With nachos it is all about the cheese and their homemade queso was creamy and tasty. The wings were loaded with Parmesan cheese and garlic. Portions were good that I had leftovers. Had the lemonade and it was good as well. I know, lemonade is lemonade but it was different from the norm and good enough for me to highlight.Service was great as well. My server gave me recommendations and food reviews for my selections. She checked to make sure I was enjoying it and the team worked as a unit to make sure my requests were tended to due to blind spots.Grateful I found this gem…I’ll be back“
“Love this joint!! Great place to watch local sports games! After plans were canceled for my birthday due to family member getting sick my daughter and I had my b day dinner at Pj’s. Taylor was our server and she did a wonderful job!! Food was excellent and Taylor’s service was even better!! What better way to eat birthday dinner than while watching the Phils with a Walker Black and great service!!! Thanks!!!!“
“My husband and I love eating here. The restaurant is clean and kept really nice. The food is very tasty and fresh. My husband loves the crab cake grilled cheese sandwich. The waiters and hosts are very friendly and polite. The atmosphere is laid back on some nights and exciting on game nights. I would recommend this place.“
“I went to the bar, for dinner and cocktails. The entire bar did not have stools. I have a bad back, and was forced to stand for over an hour. I was miserable. Food and cocktails are great, service is great. The bar needs stools!!!!Vegetarian options: There was a vegetarian sandwich.“

“If you’re between ages 21 - 40 & love packed spots with lots of people, but room to move around… plus food, pool tables, hookah & a bunch of people actually “DANCING”, this is your place 2 be (especially Thurs, Fri & Sat nights)“
“I love the staff and the food is excellent. My bf and family love the roast beef sandwich. I get the soul of the day every day.Parking: There is parking out front but it gets pretty packed. I park in the back parking lot. It’s a short walk.Kid-friendliness: I take my nieces with my almost every weekend. They love Jerry and Ornella.“
“First time here and was very pleased. Nice atmosphere, good food and solid service. Server checked in on us often. No long wait for drinks and food came quickly after order (much shorter than expected!) Will definately come here again. When you go try the NE clam chowder and the mussles!“
“Awesome place for a brewski and some good food. The brew selection is very appealing and, I enjoyed several different IPA's. I also had a lunch special that was spot on. The pastrami sandwich was appetizing and the French onion soup was delicious. I also got some takeout for dinner later. My food was done quickly, and I enjoyed every bit of it.“

“My husband, toddler, and I frequent this location at least 1-2x a month. It's a family friendly restaurant with consistently excellent food, drinks, atmosphere, and service. We have yet to be disappointed. The menu is a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of their food and drinks are worth it, in my opinion.Their cocktails are the best around - the Marilyn Monroe is my absolute favorite, but I also enjoy the Whiskey Sour. We love the confit wings and the Southwest Salad with salmon is my go-to. I recently brought my friend for her first time and she loved it, especially the cauliflower appetizer. Jamie has been my waitress a couple times now and has always been friendly, prompt, and ready to help with suggestions, even on the busier days! I'm already excited for our next trip in.“
“Katy is amazing. she was so sweet, kind, and real. She made great recommendations when we didn’t know what to drink. She made sure to ask if I wanted pico on the side because I mentioned my cilantro aversion. She’s everything anyone would want in a bartender. Katy, you can sit with us ?“
“I recently had the pleasure of being served by Doe at Cav's, and I must say, her service truly elevated my experience. Doe's professionalism and friendliness were outstanding. She had a knack for anticipating my needs, ensuring my glass was never empty and always checking in to see if everything was to my satisfaction. Not only was she attentive, but she also had a warm and welcoming demeanor that made me feel right at home. Doe's knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she was able to provide excellent recommendations tailored to my preferences. Overall, Doe's exceptional service played a significant role in making my visit to Cav's memorable, and I look forward to returning soon for another delightful experience.“
“First time dining since the old GHP and was amazed at the beautiful transformation. Service was fantastic, the menu was a nice mix of options at a reasonable price, and the food was delicious. My friends and I enjoyed everything we tried. Would recommend for families and groups.“
