Got the cake jar sampler pack for a gathering. Took about a 20 minute drive, and they were refrigerated after arrival for probably 2 hours. When we opened them, the frosting in half the jars was liquid. Like colored water. $50 and half the pack was unedible.
We love surreal and miss it now that it moved away from our area. No other ice cream place has the unique flavors and combinations of Surreal. The Earl grey Vietnamese coffee or the Matcha and Tarro flavors are the best.
A lot of places don't live up to the hype. That is not the case with Surreal. From the second we walked in, we were greeted, and asked if it was our first visit. The employee that helped us was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We were offered samples and suggestions. Our customer experience alone was worth the trip.
