“The St. Patrick’s week coffee flight was amazing. B was very friendly and helpful. When I was done with my meal, I asked about a frozen to go coffee and she made a delicious peanut butter mocha that hit the spot after driving 9.5 hours to try this place out. The next day I returned for the amazing coffee flight again and the soup flight. Definitely worth the trip and so honored to have met Woody and other locals. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Top notch.“
“BEST wings ever! We were passing through from Philadelphia on our way to Lake Glory campground. Our waitress Alisha was absolutely amazing. Recommend the wings, which we got mild, the difference in their sauce is the BUTTER! High quality. Down home atmosphere, we are planning to stop back through on our way home!!“
“Food is awesome as always. And they make everything right the first time and it's always perfect!Staff is never as attentive as I hope them to be but we never get there till after the lunch rush which doesn't seem to actually happen. The place is in dire need of upkeep though, it does smell musty inside and a lot of stuff just looks well aged and unkept. But like I said the food is fantastic and a few glimpses back into the kitchen area Don't look bad at allWheelchair accessibility: Everything is ground level so I would imagine you can wheel in quite easily“
“What a great evening. I was traveling East on I80 and stopped for the evening. The Farmhouse popped up. What an amazing evening both food and service. Crab Cakes and Mussels both amazing. Beet Salad and the special of the day Trout again both amazing. Dawn our server was quick to offer suggestions and made it a special evening. If you're on I80 , please stop by for a special evening.“
“My husband and I were in Bloomsburg and looking for a kid friendly place to grab a quick lunch. The staff was very friendly, the food was hot when it came out, and they also have a unique variety of glass bottled sodas! The cheesesteak was huge, stuffed full, and delicious! I absolutely recommend getting a side of cheese sauce to dip the fresh cut fries in!“
“There was nothing unappealing about my first time at marley's. . I tried the southern pulled pork , which is not in line with my comfort foods but ill tell you what ..... it was one of the absolute best sandwiches I've ever had in 57 years & that's a lot of comparisons! I will most definitely be “
“Absolutely love this place! Love the lotus drinks, very yummy and refreshing. The first one o had, it was so delicious, I had to stop myself from drinking it too quickly! Ha! The coffee is great , affordable, food is good, cute atmosphere. Seating. Coffee to purchase to make at home. I will be going here way too often!“
“Great family restaurant. Fresh made homemade food. Prices are such that it will not break the bankParking: Easy to park and easy to get in and out ofKid-friendliness: They provide a nice array of kids' selections. My grandkids ask to go thereWheelchair accessibility: It is easy to get a wheelchair into the building“
“I was heading to pay my check & there was a line... I had to hit the bathroom.... had spicy cayenne for lunch... was literally stuck in the bathroom for 45 minutes... I was mortified thinking they thought I ran out or they were going to close with me in the bathroom or worse call the police... I literally couldn't get up... finally the burn ? was over and I ran out to pay and they acted completely normal... such a relief love their professionalism ❤️“
“A Reuben made with fresh sliced corned beef brisket? Who does that? Katz's deli in NYC that's who. Not a wee restaurant in Paxinos!Fresh homemade schnitzel anytime ? Gimme a break. Great food ,good prices and a nice wholesome atmosphere. can't go wrong.“
“Make sure you have the shrimp basket. it is amazing. the breading is fabulous... not the standard cakey stuff you get every where else. IT IS AMAZING. My fiance and I have deemed it "our" place. AND YOU HAVE TO TRY THE COCONUT CAKE! FANTASTIC!!Kid-friendliness: Kids are more than welcome.“
“This dueling bar establishment used to be two joints now merged into one. There is a giant dining area in the center with nice wooden floors. They have a really good daily specialty menu item.We went on a Thuraday which was mac and cheese night (They have a dozen preparations, all looked fantastic). This place has booths and tables, and as I mentioned two full bar room settings. It is a trendy college hang out. Come here for a upscale bite to eat.“
“Excellent food and service. It's a little too crowded but willing to sacrifice to eat here. Lol i had the 12 oz strip and my husband had the ribeye. Cooked perfect !!! Waitress was amazing. Had alot of tables to cover but made sure you had whatever you needed.“
“The scene: The atmosphere is intimate and tastefully decorated in a refined manner. The service: top notchThe food: unreal. Thoughtfully crafted tasting menu that takes you on a flavor journey. Farm to table by truly wonderful people. Now, I’m a big guy and tasting menus always make me nervous to leave feeling hungry but this place had me bursting full by the end. Generous portions for sure! Most pleased. Will be returning many many times! If you’re on the fence, treat yourself to what food should really taste like.“
“I went there the other day and got wings with a friend that was in from out of town. They were so good that we went down and got them again tonigh for supper, hands down the best wings I've ever had!The girl that waited on me was courteous and efficient.“
“Had the Roast beef, mashed potatoes and beef gravy with mac n cheeese. Came to 21.49 with a hot tea with lemon and honey. The presentation was not good but I did not care about that but it would have made the experience better. . Also, the cups for the tea didn't have a saucer. Lemons brought out in a paper soda cup. The food was the best Roast beef and mashed I have had in a long time. The experience. Not great or even good. Oh well. The place needs updating bad. Decor is very 90s.“
“First time at the Nickle Plate. Went there after Joy to the Grove. It was crowded and we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Our server was fantastic! Despite being very busy she was very friendly and made some recommendations for us. Started with pretzel rails and they were great with the beer cheese dip served on the side. For the main event I went with the PB&J burger. AMAZING! It was a "real" burger, not frozen that had crunchy peanut butter and a spicy jelly on it along with some great seasoned bacon on a great roll. Came with pickles and chips or fries. Needless to say I mopped it up. Others had the tenderloin sandwiches which were also fantastic. The outside had a Christmas venue outside with a fire and small food items. Just a great place.“
“The place was AMAZING! The food was great, people are great, the atmosphere is everything! The people like to speak to everyone and crack jokes! It had the best burger ever! I definitely think you should take your family here!Kid-friendliness: Great food for everybody!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs whatsoever!“
“It's my go-to spot and I know a lot of the bartenders and fellow patrons. It's Smokey and it's a dive bar but I love it. The food is far from Gourmet but it's super cheap and it hits the spot when you need to soak up some alcohol. It's far enough outside of town that it's not overrun with college students. It's where I go when I want to get out.“
“I'm not one that frequents sports bars honestly but this place is solid. Lots of TVs, solid menu so there's lots of options to choose from a good and drink perspective. Rotating special appetizers and seasonal beers. The food itself is standard bar fare, mostly burgers, wings, pizza, other fried stuff. Plenty of TVs around the venue and a good amount of seating. Workers are friendly and there's a good sense of community here. There's trivia every Thursday night with a bunch of regulars so it's a fun time to see how the rivals interact.“
“This location is excellent, don't get to this one much. The food and service were great as usual. I do have one suggestion for Perkins in general, not specifically for this location. I wish they would offer some pasta on the menu, would love to have that choice. Thank you!“
“I love the antipasto salad. I don't think anyone could possibly eat the large one. I order a small and take half of it home. Staff is great, friendly and joke around with their customers and pretty much know everyone by name. I would have given 5 stars but ordered a SOFT pretzel and could not eat it , it was baked/cooked too hard.“
“Cesari's has always been my #1 stop for convenience & it was my personal preference & since they closed, decided to give good ol faithful a try since it was a family favorite (extended family) when I was a kid so I knew it shouldn't disappoint. Now, I KNOW WHY it was one of their favorite spots!I got 2 orders of the 1/2 of a chicken for takeout (we'd always eat in the cafeteria when I'd go with my family). It literally lasted me 2 days & a family member ate the rest- that's how much meat you got! It was juicy and tender- MAJOR plus, bc I HATE chicken but how can you pass up that price & honestly, done right (such as here), it's yummy! I enjoyed the stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. I got the mixed veggies (only complaint I have about that: hard gristle pieces of broccoli stem mixed in. Thankfully I caught it before I ate it & I was at home when I did, bc I WOULD have thrown up). It was only like $20 for 2 meals, the woman at the register for me a foil wrap for my rolls (so they wouldn't get soggy) and gave me a bag so I could hold them (which a lot of the food places do NOT offer!)The boy and girl duo who were working the food counter were very sweet and courteous as well! Thank you for great service & food!“
“Everybody there is so welcoming and friendly! My boyfriend and I went for breakfast. He ordered eggs toast and home fries and had no complaints. I had ordered sausage gravy and biscuits but the server said that the sausage gravy wouldn't be done for another half an hour so instead offered chipped beef gravy, I'm not sure on exact name, but I agreed and it turned out to be really good. By the end of breakfast me and my boyfriend were discussing what exactly "pigs in the blanket" were. He had asked one of the servers her opinion and it turned into a poll throughout the entire restaurant. It was about 50/50 on that.“
“Capitol is a decent destination for drinks in Bloomsburg. I can't comment on the food, because I haven't eaten any food from here in a very long time. But the drinks are pretty good and reasonably priced, and they have a fair beer selection. Late night and during certain collegiate celebrations, it becomes quite packed and the atmosphere becomes more like a club, with a big dance floor, loud music, etc. So if that's your jam, hit it up, you won't be disappointed. If it's around the end of the Bloom U semester and you're just looking for a quiet drink, I would perhaps recommend a different establishment.“
“Cute little ice cream shop in a cute little town. Their flavors change regularly, but there is always a big variety. I shared the banana split with my mom and I remember the price being very fair. There was just ALOT of options to choose from and I was disappointed that you couldn't taste test any of the flavors, like that should be a basic thing in all ice cream shops.“
“Wife and I went there and ordered food a few days ago. Pizza was super! The young sweet girl named Carly couldn’t be any nicer! I believe her father is likely the shining light that made her into this amazing talented employee!! Great job Mays for hiring this SUPERSTAR!“
“Lovely environment. Good food with reasonable prices. Waiters need some training in proper service - like serving on the right and not reaching in front of patron to serve other guest. Also should not hand customer his dinner across the table.“
“Came here to eat. After 20+ minutes of waiting I just left. No one ever came to take a order. In meanwhile 4 people chatting on front desk, 3 behind the bar. One server pass me three times. I feel sorry for boss who paying bunch people to do nothing.“
“The food was great, though it took a while for it being pretty empty. A glass of water would have been nice whole waiting. The server was nice but I'm not sure if she realized how much she interrupted personal conversations. Unnecessary check ins would have saved the aggravation.“
“I just went to Big Dan's BBQ yesterday and it is the best! I’ve had BBQ in Arkansas, Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia, these ribs and brisket are the best I’ve tasted. Everything has that genuine smoky flavor through and through, including the chicken drumsticks and pulled pork, and then you can add any of their 6 homemade sauces. The whole Big Dan's BBQ team are very attentive and fantastic to their customers!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: Faily friendly and family run business who have kids of their own.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, definitely“
