“was highly disappointed with my recent trip to this place. we got there around 2pm and was not very busy. waited about 30 minutes for our food. we ordered three meals, once steak and shrimp, one bbq chicken and a steak and chicken fingers. brought out our food and it was barely warm. they forgot the chicken fingers and when I asked about them after waiting about 10 minutes for someone to walk by they went back and grabbed them and they had the nerve to say they were sitting back there the whole time they forgot to grab them. that is absolutely poor food management and a huge food violation.“

“I ate here after my knee surgery on 12/11. I love that they offer different choices of oatmeal bowls and that they offer a parfait bowl. I got the banana oat bowl. I love that they give you a few items on the side including the milk. It was fantastic. I also got a side of home fries with onions and an iced gingerbread coffee. Everything was great and everyone was so nice. My fiancée loved her food as well. We ordered a soup and a chili to go (to eat later for dinner) while ordering as well. Our waitress had it ready to go with our check. My fiancée loved her soup and I loved the chili. We will be back for sure.“

“My mom wanted to come here for dinner for her 70th birthday and it was just lovely from start to finish. The manager, Tucker, was so gracious and welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and attentive and we just loved her. All the staff was. The food is always good but the kitchen was ON IT last night, and everything was so tasty. In a post-Covid world, we have a hard time finding restaurants that are consistently good and worth the money and my husband and I both say, just about every time that we've never had a bad meal here. It's true! You guys really made my mom's birthday dinner special. Keep doing what you're doing. Thank you!!!!“

“I was in town from Ohio and did a quick google search for “mom and pop restaurants near me” and GoodWil’s popped up. I read through the most recent reviews and looked at the menu and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! Upon arrival, I noticed is was very busy! That is a good sign that it is going to be good. Got one of the last parking spots and headed inside. You seat yourself here so we scanned the place and saw that the only available spot was at the counter. No biggie even though I am not a fan of having my back the the rest of the restaurant, but to my surprise, it didn’t feel bad! I was very at ease. The atmosphere was very welcoming and pleasant. We looked over the menu and that specials and I had a very hard time deciding! I ended up with the chicken Philly sandwich with fries. The soup of the day was broccoli and cheddar so I had to get my favorite soup! We did have a bit of a wait for our food but that is to be expected with how busy it was in there. The food arrived and immediately I was impressed. You could tell it was homemade just by looks. Oooo and the smell 😋 everything was so good! We found out it was the day of their 40th anniversary so you get a free scoop of ice cream 🍨 it was also very good 😊 I got to speak with the owner and in one conversation I could tell why his place was so successful! He has the passion for what he does. He is a very kind gentleman. We bought some of their homemade peanut butter cookies on the way out. They had a variety of desserts to choose from! I love to support small businesses and I will definitely be stopping back in their when I am in the area again 🥰“

“This was a meeting spot for an emergency road trip. I ran in to get a coffee and some baked goods (to go). Everyone was very nice and they could tell I needed a smile. The waitress at the counter brought a handful of sugar and cream so I could prepare my coffee and gave me extra for the road. She brightened my day. Muffin and cinnamon roll were enjoyed. Coffee was much better than my 1st attempt at the gas station!“

“Wife and I stopped in at 9pm after a long day of adventuring in the nearby state park. I’m glad we didn’t settle for Wawa’s! Food and drinks arrived faster than any other tavern we’ve ever been to. The waitress was amazing and frequently asked if everything was good. We got the south west egg rolls and they were delicious. My wife got a build your own burger and it was exactly what she ordered. I tried it and it was amazing. I got the crab cake sandwich and that was also incredibly delicious. I’m used too getting a crab cake sandwich and it’s all filler and no meat at most places. Not here they definitely take pride what’s being served. Food was staff was great and restroom was clean! We will be back again.“

“Wow very good sundaes it was my first time there, I will definitely be going back, the only issue I found was three of us used the long red spoons that came with the sundaes and they were sharp enough on the edges that they slightly cut our mouth.“

“First time at Hoss's. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was spotless! I never eat salad bars because I don't know who has been touching what... yuck! Well, I had the soup, salad, nacho and dessert bar!! The person(s) keeping up on it were up on every crumb, drop and refill. While I was getting my soup the attendant asked me if there was enough.
My only little bit of a minus - the queso, taco meat and nacho cheese were kinda runny- not that I still didn't enjoy a small plate. It was just very messy and not what you think it's going to be.
Everything tastes wonderful though!!!

“You will never beat two dollar shots here in Northumberland Pa. Bobs is one of the best dive bars around and I can bet money on it. The workers are amazing with spunky attitude that makes it feel like home. From Arielle to candy, to Sharyn, to braysha, to Sasha. They are all amazing people with a heart of gold and fire. Three pool tables and gambling machines for days hahaha, you’ll never be without fun. This is coming from one of their personal favorites. But never and I mean never, snap at your bartenders.“
