“On our way to Buffalo we googled gluten-free and found this restaurant a couple of minutes out of our way.Arriving at the restaurant it looked a bit suspect. Walking in I was pleasantly surprised. It lent itself to a rustic vibe, welcoming and warm. Charming in a sense. It was made even more special by the lady behind the register. She and the staff fit right into this atmosphere. Friendly, helpful and outright amazing. You just want to strike up a deeper chat.We had a fold-over and pizza, both gluten-free. Let’s just say that it was superb !! Totally caught us off guard. From the visual aspect u just didn’t correlate that food to that place. In our rust we didn’t take photos and that really saddened me. I wish everyone can stop here and experience this. Amazing!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free“
“Speedy's is honestly a great local bar - we got a cheesesteak and mozzarella sticks and it was delicious. We also got their fries and they had they homemade feel which we like. Seevice was AWESOME. The bartender and cook were extremely kindand informative when we asked questions. Great place - will be back again!“
“The waitress asked us for any dessert, and we didn't. She went to get the bill run up, and the lady that brought me out to eat said I could get it to go cause she had to be somewhere, so I decided to get dessert to go. But, it seemed like it disgusted the waitress, because I changed my mind.“
“I love Good Wil's ambience... but it's a hit or miss with whoever's cooking as to how your meal will be. It's always good food, but everyone has their own niche for a certain meal or course. The chocolate cake/PB icing...is ALWAYS ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!! ?Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking is right at the front doors, and easily accessible for wheelchair accessibility.“
“This place was really nice and beautiful diner. We had the pleasure of being served by Lisa. She was just the nicest and most helpful ever. She was really patient with our large group. We will definitely be coming back here again. The food was amazing you must try the landed fries they have so many to chose from you won't be disappointed“
“the staff were all great, the coffee was really good…. the food was amazing.. worth writing home about… chicken and biscuit bowl with sausage gravy and eggs… side of bacon, cooked perfectly… everything was perfect. best meal ive had in “
“THIS IS THE BEST ICE CREAM PLACE IN THE WORLD. Hands down. The environment immaculately adorable with old time flare! With elvis in the backroom and all these adorable things between. The ice cream is DELICIOUS! Get the raspberry cashew, you'll thank me later! The people are SPECTACULAR. Highly recommend. Will always stop here while in town.“
“I grew up in the area and lived locally all my life. I discovered Elizabeth's about a year ago and would like to share some good news about my experiences with this dining establishment. They have consistently delivered over the top service and food. I am hooked on their salmon entrees as it's hard for me to choose anything else. Their salads and desserts are also truly amazing! Service with a smile in a charming clean environment is all part of the experience. I took my wife to Elizabeth's over the weekend for her birthday meal and once again the experience was awesome! To top it off, Elizabeth's comped the birthday dessert for my wife as they do this for birthdays and anniversaries. I didn't know that. Their prices are reasonable for the total experience you receive. In my opinion, Elizabeth's is the best restaurant in Lewisburg hands down. If you are looking to go out for 5 star food and service, this place is for you.“
“We are regulars here and Julie is the absolute best server!! Its so refreshing to have a server that doesn't act like they hate there life!! Atmospere is a little sketchy, with couples proposing in the corner booth...but we can work with that!! Highly recommend!!“
“A little smoky but it is a bar. The tables were far enough away from the smoke that you can enjoy yourself. The wings were very good, we had 6 sauces and all were good. The burger selection is nice and very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we will be back. Didn't have it yet but the stromboli looked amazing.“
“Business is local to this cafe. Eat there often. Good food…….at a great price. Home town atmosphere. Friendly staff. I was sad to see it close during Covid. But the new owners really freshened up the inside (it was looking very dated before it closed) and added a lot of new items to the menu. I personally recommend to all my customers. If you are in the area or just passing through on your way to NY / MD, and are looking for some home style cooking, I suggest stopping. I am sure you will not be disappointed.“
“Food was excellent. Had the Eggs Benedict with home fries. Both were done perfectly. Had a large party for breakfast and they were very accommodating, especially so since I was in a wheelchair. Staff very attentive and polite. Highly recommend eating here if you're in the area.“
“My wife and I do not get to go out that often but i must say this experience was great! The food, the atmosphere and selection of drinks was amazing! We will most definitely be back! Love this place keep up the fantastic job and the staff was on point with everything! Thank you so much!“
“I love the food only thing preventing 5 stars is the fee they charge for takeout now.Two weeks ago their credit card machine was down and I had to get cash out which the fees were six dollars a long with the fee from the restaurant. My meal that I normally get for like 10 to $11 cost me almost $20 that day because of that.“
“I have driven by it many times almost everyday don't always have time to stop but couple of weeks ago I had time to do that so I stopped in and had dinner and a beer with it is very good service was excellent food was hot I recommended if you're on your way out of town and have time to just stop and have a meal the food was excellent“
“Love their cheesesteaks. And the seafood specials on Fri n Sat. And you can't forget about the Deserts and delicious. Everyone is so polite. Recommend going thereKid-friendliness: They go put of their way for the kids always very polite n so friendly with them .“
“So far I've only been in there for breakfast a couple times but the food is very good. It's very reasonably priced and you get very large portions. I had the meat omelette and the girlfriend had French toast and neither one of us was disappointed. Definitely the biggest pieces of French toast I've seen in the area.“
“Loved the wings! Staff was wonderful. They have a very good beer selection. I felt the price was very reasonable. They take cash only but have an ATM on site to make that transaction easy. This will most likely become the weekly wings hangout since it is close to the house. They were very busy, so I recommend coming close to 5 pm or earlier to get a table. Fresh cut fries and beer fries are very good! Wasn’t a thing we did not like about our visit to the Roost.“
“I'm going to have to take notes of the day of the week that I choose to actually go inside and eat. ? My BFF n I went for breakfast, but out of the whole restaurant where we could've been sat, the hostess paraded us to the farthest seats in the house...and we were the only females in this room that was filled with 60+ year old men. ? I felt like a mouse in a snakes cage that hasn't eaten in about 2 months. ? But...the food was good too.Kid-friendliness: This day and age, kids usually have their eyes glued to a phone or tablet. But, just in case you're a smart parent, they do have the old fashioned coloring books and crayons. ?“
“Just went out tonight to shoot pool and have a few drinks while our son was at his winter formal dance. Wasn't expecting to socialize with people as much as we did but it ended up being a great time meeting new people. Fun tavern with good spirited people!“
“Traveling on business and not a lot of options were open so we ended up at Bull Run Tap House. The menu offers a variety of items from sandwiches to burgers to pasta to fish and chips. We ordered the pretzel braid, salads, quesadillas, and ribeye steak. Before the food arrived, I chose the cranberry bourbon mule. It was really good - tart and sweet with a hint of ginger. Probably the best mule I've ever had. The food was good - nothing all that notably different so you got exactly what was described on the menu. I have to note that the pretzel braid looked dry but wasn't - it was nicely dense - but the cheese it came with had an odd sweet and cinnamon taste so I ate the pretzel plain. The service was superior...Shayann was our server and she was extremely accommodating with me and I appreciated that. The ambience is very much a bar with a restaurant area in it. It was not loud, just that you feel like you are in a bar. Didn't have an impact on our experience though.“
“I came here early, place was busy, seated quickly at an available booth. Server was attentive and came over and asked if we wanted coffee, yes. Then a few minutes later asks for our order, we order. Coffee came a bit later. Hot and fresh. No problem. Bit of a wait on the food, with no updates from the server, someone did come by and top off our coffee which was appreciated. Thank you. First time coming here for myself, but my brother lives in the area and frequents this place. Food was okay. Toast was delicious and buttered. Bacon was hot and crispy. Not the undercooked rubbery bacon that sometimes happens at breakfast diners. You get it. The flaked hash potatoes were cold, the eggs were runny, lukewarm, needed a tiny bit more cooking as some of the egg white was clear. some things were hot and piping, but those two things had been cooked too early? I ate the food anyways and I didn't die, and it was a good amount for the price. My brother's food was good too. He got a Belgian waffle plate and scrapple. All in all, it was decent, and would go back. The restaurant's atmosphere was happy and lively, and relaxing. I liked that the bathrooms were clean, well stocked and had hot running water at the sink.Kid-friendliness: Easy simple food, not overcomplicated. Kids menu and cereal. Chocolate milk, water, orange juice.Wheelchair accessibility: One level restaurant- no stairs, handicap park spaces near the entrance. Tables where a chair or two can be removed.“
“Not sure how to rate service. You order and pay for your food at the cash register. There are no wait staff. The food is brought to the table by the kitchen staff. It's unusual but it worked. No complaint. The restaurant looked clean and was nicely decorated.Food was good.“
“Had a fantastic dinner here! The atmosphere is cozy and classic, and we were fortunate enough to have some live entertainment on the bar side. We ordered the smoked trout baguette and pappardelle as appetizers- both phenomenal with very generous portions. For our entree we both had the steak frites, which was fantastic, melt-in-your-mouth good. Lewisburg has a bunch of cute little pubs and restaurants, but this is probably the best dinner we've had in the area!“
“The "Henhouse" sandwich, chicken salad on a pretzel roll, was amazing. The waitress was very attentive even though she was covering two areas. I couldn't have asked for a better lunch.Wheelchair accessibility: To the best of my knowledge, there are no wheelchair accessible entrances.“
“I recently dined and was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service and delectable offerings. From the moment I walked in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. The food was outstanding, with each dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. Whether it was the perfectly cooked entrees or the tantalizing array of drinks, every aspect of the meal exceeded my expectations.Overall, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a superb dining experience. I will definitely be returning for more culinary delights in the near future.“
“We stopped in for a quick lunch and really enjoyed the place. I got the caboose sandwich and the flavors were delicious. The restaurant is located inside an old train station, which oozes a beautiful atmosphere. I'm a sucker for a bread basket and spreads before your meal too!“
“Great place to eat if visiting town. People who work here know the regulars by name and great them with enthusiasm. A variety of seating types, leather chairs, small group tables, high top… I’m back in town I’ll definitely go again. Bagels made fresh and a variety of lunch and breakfast options.“
“Always love going to Lisa's. Sandwiches are great, but I really love their soups. Such a variety of soups each day, and I love getting their soup sampler. Desserts are always fun, never had a bad one. Staff is great. Typically very busy, but always pleasant.Vegetarian options: Depending on how strict vegetarian you are, they do accommodate adjusting selections to minimize meat exposure. Such as leaving the bacon off the wedge salad. Would not suggest for vegans.“
