“Excellent selection of drinks and food. Gene (sp?) our waiter was attentive and made excellent suggestions. Was very very impressed with the octopus, and tuna carpaccio. Very cozy bar and a nice quiet dining room make the space versatile. New favorite in Allentown.“
“Came here for dinner with a big group and it was great! We shared 24 oysters, of which there was a great variety. I got the Chilean sea bass special and it was cooked perfectly. The chocolate peanut butter dessert was soooo good. Wines and cocktails are reasonably priced too! Great spot in Allentown.“
“Popped in for dinner. The set-up of the restaurant itself is neat with the upper levels on either side. I don't fully understand the overall theme of the food as the menu options were all over the place. Started with the mussels & frites. This was interesting in terms of the flavor. I'm not sure I totally understand the point of the fries at the bottom of the bowl but I didn't necessarily mind the combo. The burger was the best part of our meal hands down-juicy, flavorful, overall just a nicely done take on a burger. The salmon & spatzle was another interesting combination. The salmon itself was moist and well-cooked. The spatzle itself was fine. Good assortment of drink options.“
“Stopped in for an impromptu lunch date after searching for well-reviewed sushi nearby. We ordered a Kinya Expierience (ramen, a specialty roll, and bubble tea,) as well as a number of other specialty sushi rolls and takoyaki, a personal favorite of mine. The Ramen was good, not the best I've ever had but certainly tasty. The star of the show was the specialty sushi rolls, which hit all the good things about quality sushi: it was tasty, fresh, and filling. The takoyaki didn't not disappoint either, so all told an excellent meal. We will almost certainly be back.“
“Triple Sun Spirits Co. is a great little distillery located in the same building as Funk Brewing. Great cocktails at reasonable prices, a to go fridge filled with premade cocktails (and jello shots) for those on the move, and plenty of seating and space for large parties. The bartender that served our party was friendly, informative, and most importantly made some great drinks for us. You can purchase bottles of their distilled spirits though I will say they sell 375ml for $35 a pop which is quite a lot of cash for not a lot of liquid. But it's a small operation and they've gotta live so I'm always going to be down supporting a worthy small business. All in all, Triple Sun is a great stop on its own or as part of a crawl through the area including Funk, Yergeys, and Switchback Pizza (<def go here for dinner.)“
“Absolutely fantastic. Sat at the bar with my husband. Our bartender Ariana was extremely kind and enthusiastic. We are both past restaurant managers and workers, environment is fun and welcoming. Food was phenominal. Cuband and quesadilla where fantastic. No complaints. Will come back for sure!“
“My daughter and I had slightly different versions of Pad Thai. I had the Pad Thai Ramen and my daughter had the traditional Pad Thai. Mine had the addition of a fried egg, fried wonton, and fresh mango. The fresh mango was a really nice surprise. We also had the chicken lettuce wraps that comes with a portion of sticky rice. I also had the raspberry tea...sweet much like Thai beverages. All in all a good experience. I would go again but ask for much spicier chili's.“
