“We had a wonderful experience working with Tess and OsoSweet Bakery! My friend and I ran the Tough Mudder held a few miles away, and thought it would be fun to celebrate our success with a sweet treat. We ordered 6 custom cupcakes (and two scones, because who doesn't love a scone?!) and got a prompt and lovely response from Tess - she even made two different frosting flavors for us since we couldn't choose On the day we were due to pick up our order, we were running late and Tess assured us we could come after closing to grab our sweets. Come to find that in addition to the TM decoration we'd asked for, she also decorated some of our cupcakes with the TM logo to differentiate between the frosting flavors. And the scones are huge! Everything was delicious and the perfect way to end our race. Plus the shop is ADORABLE! We were sad we didn't have more time to visit and hang out there! Thank you again, Tess!”

“Best steaks closest to Chester County. True Philly style, quality ingredients and portions. Reminiscent to Dalassandro's, Chubby's, Shanks, etc. It's a good thing it's a bit out of the way for us here in Coastesville area. We'd go there way too often!”

“In town visiting my Bestie and we came and had brunch. We ate outside. The atmosphere was great, and our server was also great. The food came out in a timely fashion. I had the fresh berry French toast with scrambled eggs and chicken sausage. Everything tasted delicious..”
“The Winter Showcase Tasting was fantastic. Great wine paired with yummy treats. The property and setting is beautiful and River was fabulous and fun at sharing history and how to taste wine! We had a wonderful time and want to return for the different seasons and events.”

“Rita’s is the local Water Ice chain (you may call it Italian Ice) that also serves ice cream, custard, milkshakes, and more.
A small is always enough for me, and often too much. Every Rita’s gives free water ice on the first day of spring.”

“THEY'RE BACK!! I almost didn't want to write a review because there's already a line going out the front door just like the old days and I don't want to encourage even more people to know about the awesome mushroom, Chadds Ford vibe Hank's brings. The amazing host, cooks and wait staff bring the biggest smile back. Ya gotta go!! Enjoy!”

“Recently had dinner here on a Friday evening, we were seated immediately, without reservations, in the bar area. Service was quick, food was good! A little loud , but we were in the bar area. There was a group of about 12 people nearby. My only complaint is charging $16. for a glass of sangria? Really? It's mostly ice and fruit. I almost fell out of the booth when i saw that! Just a buyer beware. Overall good experience, great food!”

“We dined in here for the first time on a Friday night. Service was great despite the phone ringing off the hook. Food came out at perfect increments. Everything was delicious, hot and you could tell it was all fresh. Portions were big for the prices. Cannot wait to come back!”

“😍Tucked just off the road like a well-kept secret, Snuff Mill Steakhouse & Butchery is a revelation—a celebration of fine dining wrapped in the warmth of a neighborhood favorite. Step inside, and you’re greeted by a cozy, intimate interior that feels both polished and personal. High tables, rich wood tones, and a welcoming bar set the tone. And just to the left of the entrance, a gleaming meat case—like a culinary altar—builds anticipation with its marble-cut promise of things to come. Whimsy lives here too, from the surprise artworks to the playful presence of pigs in unexpected places (don’t miss the one keeping watch near the door). The wine list? Impeccably curated, with a focus on hand-selected bottles that beg to be explored. Cocktails are more than drinks—they’re small works of art, mixed with precision by bartenders who clearly care. Then there’s Bill Irvin—proprietor, oyster whisperer, and front-of-house magician. A certified oyster expert, Bill pairs briny beauties with grace and authority. The chef and kitchen brigade bring French-influenced finesse to every plate, sourcing only the finest local ingredients. The results? Steaks seared to sublime, seafood that sings, and appetizers that linger on the palate like a good memory. The in-house pastry chef seals the deal—so save room. The desserts are nothing short of transportive. Snuff Mill is more than a meal; it’s a destination. Guests travel from near and far, and once you’ve experienced it, you’ll understand why.”

“The bartenders there serve people that are obviously visibly drunk and falling off their stools! When I brought it up to the bartender, she said I misread the situation and it was none of my business! So, I went to the manager and she repeated pretty much the same statement like it was scripted because it continuously happens! I wonder if the owners are aware of these actions because honestly the bartender and manager should be fired for those kind of attitudes as it's illegal to serve visibly impaired patrons at a bar! Sad! 🤔😔 I actually have to add, it's a shame that the staff isn't the best, because the concept is great, the events are fun and our group which usually numbers 10 to 15 people enjoy hanging out there for the events and the food which is reasonable and pretty good! 💝😎👍”

“TY for accommodating our party of 18 on a Saturday… Your fried calamari was so yummy, the flight of soup was a brilliant idea for someone who’s undecisive to be able to sample 3 different cups, my crab cake was so amazing - I’m drooling just thinking about the jumbo lumps of crab chunks!!! By the way hubby & I noticed the American Psycho decors right away as we’re huge fans of the book & movie. Last but def not least, the service was great even though there were 18 of us with some loud kiddos.”

“Food came out very fast. Atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The food alone was amazing and very fresh every time we go. The pasta dishes are better than most if not all of there other restaurants in wc. You can tell when effort is put into every dish and the chefs put full effort to make every bite as good as the last.”

“Administrative details - While you usually must make a reservation a year in advance (which I did), there are a very few earlier spots available on their website. In addition, if you are on the email list, they send the occasional last-minute availability. Talula’s is BYOB. The price was $125 and with all the other things, taxes, gratuities, it came to $160. The Nook Table is available for 6-8 diners and the Farm Table is for larger parties. Website link is below. Everything is presented in “tasting” small portions. In addition to the menu, they provided a couple of additional offerings. I did not do a good job of capturing the delightful descriptions of the food provided by our server. (The next time I go, I will video the descriptions if they allow.) The group did a great job of bringing wine which was beautifully poured in appropriate glassware by our server. The server also paired the wine with the offerings for us! The service was exceptional without being pretentious. After each tasting, plates, utensils and glasses were cleared and refurbished so discreetly that you hardly noticed. The menu changes with the “farm to table” availability. My favorite was a squash tarte. [I was delighted to find that I did not like the foie gras. It is “made” in a most inhumane and horrible way. This is the only time I have eaten it and I will never eat it again.] I was sorry to find that by the Black Garlic Beef Ribeye (#6 on the list), I was getting to the point of “too much food.” The only downsides were “too much food” for most of us and the wines they suggested for the pairings were hard/impossible to find. I personally did not like the varieties of wines they suggested for pairings. The rest of the party enjoyed the comparable wines they were able to find and allowed the server to pair with the tastings. I will be making a reservation for next year very soon. I have already made a reservation for the “sister” Talula’s Garden in Philly for September.”

“I had the best Cuban sandwich! I found out they use their own marinated pork, instead of ham. Puts the generic versions offered by chain restaurants to shame!”
