“It's my first time here, I learned that on Fridays and Saturdays, they offer a buffet. It was awesome I enjoyed the variety of dishes, aromas, and flavors. They offer table side fresh naan and mango lassi. The decor and restaurant were nice, and the cleanliness was good. The flavors were robust and spicy. The price was about $20 a person. Can't wait to go back with some friends“

“Wow wow wow! Neeru and Raman have created a hidden gem. The Green Chili restaurant in Quakertown Pennsylvania has the most authentic and delicious Indian food I’ve had in America. If you’re going there for the ambience, it’s OK, really just try to focus on the food and you will be wowed. As you know the best food in the world is usually in a little hole in the wall. All I can say is I’m definitely glad I decided to take a chance on this gem. From the deeply layered flavored chutneys to the crunchy papadam and perfectly balanced soft, doughy- yet with a crispy texture, garlic naan… rarely have I ever tasted better…not even in London. I ordered the chicken curry because that’s always a good basic test. It was perfectly spicy, an excellent consistency, a rich, deep red, and it was loaded with chicken. My husband had the tikka chicken because he likes things milder and it could not have been more succulent, plus incredibly delicious. I if you’re concerned about price point, it’s very reasonable, especially for the quality you receive. I believe the Green Chili restaurant may be Quakertown‘s best kept secret. It’s my new favorite restaurant! If you love Indian food, it will definitely be yours too!“

We sampled a few of our favorite dishes (samosa, kebab, paneer, garlic nan, ras malai) and were very satisfied! “We have been coming to Saffron in Ambler for many years. Every time we go, the staff is always amazing and accommodating, and the food is the best we've had around.We come and sit for lunches or dinners, and do takeaway often, as well. The dishes are consistently tasty, spicy (when requested) and the naan is always good.There are other Indian places around, and we have tried them, but we always return to Saffron.We have brought wine (BYO) which is nice, too. Friends meet us there too, and it's nice to share.Parking is the public lot behind the playhouse, there is almost always space. Ambler has ample parking nearby.Vegetarian options: So many good choices for vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, and Dairy-Free.Kid-friendliness: Can get simple dishes, and the mango lassi is always a hit (it was with our kid when she was little)“

“Fantastic food, the food is so tasty and fresh and our family loved the way that the spice level of their food can be toned exactly to your liking. We had the delicious vegetable samosas for starters followed by mango curry and chicken tikka masala which we scooped up with super yummy regular as well as the excellent peshwari naan with almonds and raisins! And be sure to try their mango lassi and chai - both are excellent!!We look forward to coming back to this super clean and very friendly homely restaurant again in the very near future!“

“Very good. We love Indian food and orders it at least once a week. We love Kirinji, but wanted to try this place out because they have lamb roganjosh (Kirinji no longer has it.) We tried lamb roganjosh, saag paneer, and chicken Tikka marsala. All 3 were good and delicious. We will definitely come back for more!“

Tried vijaywada biyani, gunpowder dosa, chicken kottu parotta, and some other non veg curries. They were all so yummmm. Also ask them for their special talapakattu biryani (goat). OMG Its not made with basmati rice , but tastes 1000 times better than most of biryani i have had.“

“I have to say, this place is seriously SO FREAKING GOOD! I don't normally review places... ever... but i am seriously WOW'd. We went in on Sunday and nobody was there but us. so i feel the need to spread the word bc it was THAT delicious! The Mango smoothies- omg so good and you can taste that they're fresh and real! the spring rolls- to die for, and that yellow sauce was addictive!!! the burger- my teenage daughter was raving about it, and she's not easily impressed... so we all took a taste and WOW. succulent, perfect, better than any burger I've had in years. the veggie fried rice- my husband and toddler gobbled it down the waffle fries- seriously how did they get them to be so perfect and crispy?! we had to order a second basket bc they were that good the veggie curry- delicious! they make it as spicy or mild as you want, and mine was perfect! I'm eating my leftovers now!! Rest assured, we will be back! we are definitely new regulars here- there was something for everyone in our family!“
