“I don’t go here as often as I would like, but every time I have gone, the food has always been delicious, and the owners and staff are always so friendly and crack a joke or two! I love this food and it makes me want to learn how to cook it myself, but I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do it as well as them. The rice w/beans with pork and chicken, called “Rob’s Special”, is so good. Their plantain stuffed with beef, as well as their meat patties, are so good. That’s what I’ve gotten so far because I just want to get the same things again because I like them so much😆“

Francis is a true master in the kitchen, each time we visit the menu is different, and I’ve yet to have anything short of incredible. Everything is freshly made with locally sourced ingredients, recipes are well thought out and meticulously made with the absolue best combinations. All baked goods are baked daily on site and are the closest you will get to what heaven is. Service is superb. We ordered appetizers, and specialty drinks, our server Orville was so attentive and definitely knew the menu. The general manager, Maureen stopped by to wish us a happy anniversary and make sure everything was as it should be. The service and food exceeded our expectations, it always does. Maureen seems to be an amazing role model to her staff, she is the manager, but you definitely find her with “hands on”, it’s incredibly obvious how much respect they have for her. Our main entree was prepared perfectly. Dessert was not only perfect in presentation it was delicious! I cannot say enough about this location. Everything was cooked perfectly and very nice sized portions at an affordable price. Parking garage was very close in this bitter cold and it was an excellent evening with good friends and my wife. “My go-to order is the seafood alfredo or mussels but you could not go wrong choosing anything on the menu, everything is beyond delicious! My nieces always ask if we can go get their gelato whenever they come over and we usually end up adding a pizza or three to the order as well. Not only is the food and service amazing, when my snow shovel broke this morning while they were snowblowing the lot they were SO KIND and immediately came over to help with my walkway. Everything I love about Downingtown and the community is embodied by Pomodoro and I highly recommend stopping by for both the food and the people! 😊“

The overhead in Phoenixville is probably high but the cost and the wait was too much. She seems nice, there were three staff people and only two tables though. Hm. pretty inside. :/“
