“I had fried rice with chicken and steak. It was delicious. Only problem was I ask for mild but I didn't taste anything spicy at all not even a lil kick. Next time I'm going to try hot. But overall nice neighborhood right next to Rita water ice. Great customer service and great first dish. I definitely recommend people to try Thai food from here.“

“Overall, Aoyama Ramen is an enjoyable experience for someone who might want to try Japanese food. The service and time of meals are good, and is a healthy choice! In Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, it is convenient for the go and to dine in. It isn't busy at all, it has a humble amount of people dining. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars, because of the mochi ice cream, and the texture was disturbing. Other than that, this place should be more recommended! You can go check in Yelp for 15% off your first visit today, so go right now!! Aoyama Ramen, the ambiance of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, serving Japanese cuisine. At Newtown Square, this place provides a hot place for those who are cold! I went a few weeks ago, on my first visit, with my brother. The first look when we went inside the entrance, was a soothing wooden lounge. We were placed near the windows, with a soft cushion for people sitting. A TV played soccer games, with a cover of southeast asian music. Our server was an amiable woman, she allowed us to take our time choosing. She was very patient as well and wrote our meals and drinks quickly. I ordered the seaweed salad and the 6-piece Karaage chicken (a popular dish) as our appetizers, which looked promising and flavorful in the photo. When our appetizers came, it was delicious. The seaweed salad had Wakame seaweed, a type of hydrated bright green seaweed. The bowl for the seaweed was decorated with artificial grass as well. The Karaage chicken was piping hot, as the chicken had just come off the grill. It was finely drizzled with a type of secret sauce, which tasted like mayo but sweeter and tangier. It was garnished with green onions as the final piece and onions on the side. With one bite, I felt the sauce and the rich fried chicken overflowing my mouth. The chicken exploded into my mouth, the outside being crunchy, and the inside being so soft and tender. After we ate our appetizers, I ordered the Japanese Curry Don bowl for myself and the Aoyama spicy ramen for my brother. We decided to get water to drink since we had just had a sweet drink earlier. While we were waiting, I noticed that around our seats, the restaurant was sparkling clean. Not a single drop of dirt nor shininess. When our food came, I noticed the appearance of the curry immediately. They made a bowl of rice and then added the Japanese curry. When I grabbed a spoon and dug in, the taste was so savory and warming, It could make someone cry. They also added chicken and vegetables to the curry, which also added to the amazing taste. The food portions were terrific too, since I can't finish many Japanese curries in most restaurants because of huge portions, it allowed me to eat all of it! When we finished eating our meals, we decided to get dessert. I ordered the strawberry ice cream mochi, which was cut into 8 blocks, showing the ice creams. They had a dollop of whipped cream in the center, rising higher than if you put the 8 blocks on top of each other. They had wooden toothpicks to be able to eat the 8 blocks of ice cream, which helped the process instead of using a metal fork and causing a mess. The texture was incredible... AWFUL. It tasted like ice cream turning into ice sand. It felt like sand and ice mixed, to make a mochi ice cream. The total of the meals we had was an average price. It was $49, which I would say, is an acceptable price for the food. Food Critic: Violet Pham“

“If you like pho, this place is worth the trip. The soup is very hot (much hotter than some spots in Philly) and the flavor isn't overpowering. Not too much meat, but enough with the noodles that I was completely stuffed after my soup (and I can eat!).The steamed pork dumplings were special.... Slightly sweet, and very savory. Pork spring rolls are all pork, and although I would have liked some veggies in there, the flavor was also very good. Finally, I tried the clay pot fish, and I will be back to eat JUST THAT. I love fish, and the clay pot is a tasty braised fish in a super flavorful brown sauce ... Just wonderful for midwinter supper!“
