“Our Christmas party at the Kings Tavern tonight was first class. The service was wonderful; the food was delicious; and our waiter, Gary, was unbelievable!!! Thank you for a wonderful evening.“
“The Owner Michael Quinn should take a step back and put the bottle down when being in his own place of business. He says it is a kid friendly place, yet, a well behaved child on the dancefloor was outside of his liking during his night out drinking with the wife apparently. His delivery of telling me he doesn't want my child on the dancefloor, followed by lies was unacceptable. Its ashame because the staff there is Phenomenal. He would be better off allowing his manager Kate do the talking if he doesn't like something in his drunken pugnacious state.“

“Tonight was our first night trying Portabello’s. We had an excellent dinner! My wife had the chicken parmigiana and I had the stroganoff. We shared the chocolate decadence cake for dessert. Had an excellent server named Erica. We will be back.“

“Administrative details - While you usually must make a reservation a year in advance (which I did), there are a very few earlier spots available on their website. In addition, if you are on the email list, they send the occasional last-minute availability. Talula’s is BYOB. The price was $125 and with all the other things, taxes, gratuities, it came to $160. The Nook Table is available for 6-8 diners and the Farm Table is for larger parties. Website link is below. Everything is presented in “tasting” small portions. In addition to the menu, they provided a couple of additional offerings. I did not do a good job of capturing the delightful descriptions of the food provided by our server. (The next time I go, I will video the descriptions if they allow.) The group did a great job of bringing wine which was beautifully poured in appropriate glassware by our server. The server also paired the wine with the offerings for us! The service was exceptional without being pretentious. After each tasting, plates, utensils and glasses were cleared and refurbished so discreetly that you hardly noticed. The menu changes with the “farm to table” availability. My favorite was a squash tarte. [I was delighted to find that I did not like the foie gras. It is “made” in a most inhumane and horrible way. This is the only time I have eaten it and I will never eat it again.] I was sorry to find that by the Black Garlic Beef Ribeye (#6 on the list), I was getting to the point of “too much food.” The only downsides were “too much food” for most of us and the wines they suggested for the pairings were hard/impossible to find. I personally did not like the varieties of wines they suggested for pairings. The rest of the party enjoyed the comparable wines they were able to find and allowed the server to pair with the tastings. I will be making a reservation for next year very soon. I have already made a reservation for the “sister” Talula’s Garden in Philly for September.“

“Go to Dyers all the time. Today we ordered 2 chicken cheese steaks a 2 cheese steaks and got all cheese steaks. We called and they didn't make it right. Poor business ethics.“

“Dinner was excellent. Ordered lots on the menu and each was outstanding. The skate melted in your mouth. Tasted like chicken. Lamb carpaccio, pork steak, rainbow trout, ravioli, funghetti. Well worth it.“

“Went to a wedding reception on Saturday night at East Branch Brewing Company and it was amazing! The food and drinks were excellent and the staff was phenomenal! I can not say enough about the experience. Highly recommend!“

“We love going to liberty union but it would be nice if it stated some where that you can only use gift cards at the location they are bought at. I received a gift card for Liberty Union that was purchased in Kimberton and went to the Chester Springs location only to find out it can’t be use there. That should be stated at purchase so there is no confusion.“

“The manager was extremely kind and helpful. We arrived very late and the kitchen was closed but he offered us a few pizza options and we were more than grateful!! Pizza was delicious and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu and really appreciate how customer friendly everyone was.“

“This was our first time eating here & we loved it! Our one tiny exception was the crab dip, which was a bit runny. Otherwise, everything else-- the cheeseburger sliders, mac attack & sweet & spicy salmon bowl-was delicious. We will definitely be returning.“

“First time visiting this restaurant. Inside and outside seating available. Food was outstanding, and the service was just as good. We were able to sit and relax. I would recommend Brickside to anyone looking for a great relaxing restaurant to spend a night with family or friends. We will definitely be going back.“
