Concordville Inn, a well-known local restaurant, is sadly closing its doors on June 25, 2023. The Hionis family has operated the establishment since 1973, and it has been a bustling business for 50 years. The signature roast beef and crab imperial are popular menu items. The inn's last day of service saw a full dining room, but some food options were unavailable towards the end of the day. Service was attentive, but the food was described as decent, with limited choices. Desserts were displayed in a way that allowed them to be touched by children, which some customers found off-putting. Despite the decent prices, it remains uncertain if the restaurant will reopen in the future. The historic building will be torn down to make way for an in-patient drug treatment facility, marking a significant loss for the community.
