“Yesterday was my first visit there. First, there was a sign indicating an invitation to use their back patio. I didn't know which way to access the patio so naturally I walked around to the other (wrong) side of the building searching for the back patio. I was met by two locked doors. I then walked down the path then around the front of the store and then I went in the other direction.... kept going... looking for the patio and found it in the back of the building where I placed my order. I was disappointed that there was no sugar-free ice cream but they had a vast array of cones. Then, I had to walk to another window to pick up my ice cream cone. The ice cream was really, really good though the prices were steep yet they asked for a tip in addition to the steep prices. Even with that, however, I will return. I was impressed that they were open in the middle of a rainy, cloudy Sunday afternoon. Their serving the ice cream cone in a little container was a cute addition.“

“Cute little place and a good late night stop. It does get busy. Got milkshakes and they were awesome. Chocolate and vanilla both equally good. Not from the area but it seems like window service is typical in this area. Not really a fan of it though but that’s just personal preference. I have tried water ice, hand dipped ice cream, soft serve ice cream, pretzels, hot sausage.

The ice cream and water ice are served cold, its not melting all over the place when you get it, the pretzels were warm and soft , the hot sausages were very good!

Sometimes there is a line at the windows, it moves quickly!

You get a good sized portion for the price

“We initially came here because we thought it was Vita, but that was right next door. However, we were not disappointed! The place is cute and has a few over the counter Italian goodies for purchase. We got gelato and hazelnut lattes. It was so delicious and the young man working there was wonderful, friendly, helpful, and clean. Excellent service and delicious gelato and coffee.“

Parking opposite the market off Cuthbert St (with additional entrances off Filbert and Arch). Make sure to validate your parking ticket and a vendor inside the market to get the discounted parking rate ($7 for 2 hrs).“
