The lady that took care of us very well, even offering an infusion on her in lieu of having a horrible week to start the new year. They got to know the owners and became good friends, so much so that my wife and I were married at Christ Luthern Church a few doors away just so we could all walk over to the Springtown Inn afterwards for our reception dinner. The food and atmosphere were just perfect. We completely forgot to get a cake so they baked one right on the spot. There’s much more to the story, but they made our wedding day a most cherished memory. In fact, today is our 34th wedding anniversary, July 27, 1991. We don’t live in the area so I was very happy to see that you are still in business after all these years. I hope we can get back there one day!“

“UPDATE: Went back Thursday, May 10th and tried the meatballs. They were good, but the wings and Prime Rib Sliders are still the favorites for me. Went out to eat Sunday evening, at Capo and Co, in Emmaus. I can't say enough about the food and service. My favorites are the wings. I will never go anywhere else for wings again! I got plain to dip in their horseradish sauce, and my boyfriend got sweet chili. They were amazing! The prime rib sliders melt like butter in your mouth. The toppers in the Bloody Mary included a fat slice of provolone, sweet Gherkins pickle, bacon, olives and more. The atmosphere was cozy and yet so roomy. The place was immaculately clean and the presentation of the food was first class. A must try for everyone!“

“I want say that my expectations were fully exceeded by my visit on Tuesday (12/9) to TGIF (Quakertown). I found an old gift card and brought it into see if it still had value. The early mid day manager could not have been nicer in getting me set up with the full value of my card. We returned later that evening and had a terrific waitress who took great care and enthusiasm during our visit. The food was perfectly prepared , steak exactly cooked as ordered, fresh al dente broccoli and well seasoned rice. My dining partner enjoyed the generously portioned Cobb salad. All in all a great experience.“

“Made a reservation for 3:30 before going to see rod stewart at the ppl center in allentown. We got there 2:45 and they did seat us early which was very nice of the hostess to do so. The place was packed and now I know why. It was our first time eating at the thirsty tavern and it won't be the last!
Our waitress was nick and she was awesome! She helped me choose my dinner from three choices I asked her about and her recommendation was spot on! I had the fish tacos which came with a side of black beans and a,side of cilantro lime rice and let me tell you it was soooo goood! The whole dish was so flavorful omg! I also had the white sangria and that was so good as well!
My husband had the blackened shrimp wrap which came with a side of fries.
His meal was really good too.
We had the peach tavern wings as an appetizer and they too were soo good!
Nick was also very attentive to our table which was much appreciated and a very nice girl.
You have to stop by and try this place you will be happy you did!
Make sure you ask to be seated in nicks area as she's the best!

Didn't like the $2.50 upcharge if you want to substitute fruit for homefries and toast with your omelet- I didn't get a discount when I didn't get them - omelet was a nice size but I don't eat carbs. They are a little pricey $13.50 for just the omelet cause I asked for cheese. Overall it's a neighborhood place - nothing fancy. They omelet was packed with veggies so I was happy.“

“At first glance, the Palm looks like what could best be described as your typical country dive bar - which it sort of is, but with some pleasant enhancements. The decor in the bar area is unique, there is a quote regarding the love of music overhead as you walk through to the traditional seating. I can't explain the allure of the place exactly, only that it's got that "slowed down" vibe that seems to be lost in a world of 2025 chain bars/gastropubs. Admittedly, I have always been a sucker for places like this - but the Palm did not disappoint. We were a party of 5, my wife, myself, our three kids (12, 7, 3) and while we were the only family with young kids in there at the time (and my 3-year-old was absolutely post-nap second energy wind) nobody seemed to mind. They have a chalkboard with daily soup specials that looked like someone took the time to make fancy. The food was typical of a bar, I wouldn't say it was out of this world (I had the diablo burger) but it was above-average for a bar setting. My daughter had the kids burger which was sort of lack-lustre, my wife had a roast beef sandwich (complete with sides of horseradish and Au Jus) which was not only massive, but "really really good" and let me tell you she's the food critic between us. I liked that the floors are sort of worn, it aided in the atmosphere feeling like your local family pub. Service was great, and that's considering that the bartender was alone, with 6-8 people at the bar, and probably another 12-15 people seated at the table. She was a rock star and absolutely the reason we will be back. I liked this place, a lot - give it a try!“

I was visiting the QMart had a flat bread at Flat's and filled and a Philly cheese steak at Pete's. It was what I expected.
