We all chose to be adventurous and go with the specials recommended by our waiter Fathi. That gentleman exudes charisma and is the embodiment of good service. We loved everything we were served even though they were all exotic dishes, which can be a gamble.

FYI. There are no alcoholic drinks and you cannot BYOB. We were disappointed about that at first because we like to enjoy a couple of drinks with a nice meal but that was soon forgotten. We travel a good bit and have enjoyed nice meals in many countries. This one ranks high on our list. Bon Kif Grill is a do not miss.“

“My first time having a shrimp gyro and I can confidently say, I will order that every single time!

My order had rice, peppers, onion, white sauce, lettuce, tomato, and very fresh, well-seasoned shrimp. It was delicious and a perfect size for lunch.

The gentleman in there who I assume was the owner, was so nice and sweet. I could adopt him as my grandpa, but will have to wait till my next visit to discuss the details, lol.

“We found Nafi Food Express truck in Philly at 34th and Market 8 years ago when my son was craving Indian food after a very long and scary hospitalization at CHOP for RSV. We've loved it ever since! The meat is tender and tasty, the salad is spectacular and the owner is very nice and personable. Most importantly to us, the cart is clean and the owner is proud of his history of cleanliness. If you love Indian food this is THE place to get it. We would rather have this as a treat than some of the fancy Indian restaurants we've tried including Tiffin and Ekta and New Delhi. Plus, the amount of food is fantastic in size.“

Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. We even made the occasional pilgrimage there once we lived in separate places around Philly.Majit (and later Salman) always whipped up the freshest food, had a smile on their face, and were glad to talk with us. “I just inhaled the best burger in town. Finally got in to try Heemo’s-Sicklerville and I’m mad it took me so long! I’ve had them saved to try a few months but they’ve been here for years! Absolutely delicious! Long overdue trying and WE WILL BE BACK! Amazing fries, onion rings- well cooked and so good!!! Burger is thinner than I’m use to- more falafel thickness but it actually FIT THE BUN! Instead of half the size like most fast food junk. And I’m not still hungry. Real food, delicious food, extremely kind and efficient staff! (They got a MASSIVE order as I was there and now I have to try those foods next time! Haha) Thank you for opening up a second location for us to stumble into! Sorry it took us so long but you’ve got us hooked. Truly. Try this place. You won’t regret it. Get the heemos fries! On a side note, we ordered through door dash. On the porch, there are 3 tables with a huge note stating “for deliveries”

“I visited the truck during my lunch break to pick up lunch for me and my mother. We both got the chicken over rice with the salad. The man in the truck was very nice and personable. The person in front of me ordered six plates, and he served them promptly. When it was my turn order, he greeted me warmly and served the food fairly quickly. The food is delicious and the portions are great, the meal comes with a drink as well. it's a plentiful serving because I only ate half for dinner and had the other half the next day for lunch and it was just as delicious. I think overall, you can't beat the delectable taste with the price. 10/10“

“Visiting family in Philly and wanted to try a halal Philly Cheesesteak. Had some In The Uk with varied quality. Saad’s is way way ahead. Big, juicy, very very tasty. Reasonably priced, staff are lovely. Place is set up like a diner and kept very very clean. We are here a few times during our trip, tried others but had to come back. Eat j. And takeaway service is good. My recommendations. Cheesesteak with mushrooms, kofta hoagie. Had a chat with Saad, nice guy. Looked after us.“

I decided to come where with my friend the moment I saw the items. The owner was really good and personable he gave us Malai Tea on the house for us. “In the heart of north philly, this is a pretty solid place for some Chinese takeout. I was worried it wouldn’t be like the American spots since it’s halal but it compares pretty well!
Food size was small but the prices aren’t crazy.“
