“So the food I tried was delicious! The uzbek pilaf was rice with beef, and the samsa was a flaky pastry with beef. And how could I forget, I tasted the honey cake too - yum! I have nothing against the food trailer, in fact, the worker served us free London fogs which was a delightful surprise! But I don't really recommend eating inside the car shop... Friendly staff but it's just a bit odd in there...??♀️“

“I’ve been coming to Cocalico Coffee Crafters for about a year and a half now—and I should have written this sooner. CCC is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a place with the warmth of a hearth, and the heart to match. Their Haitian espresso is rich and flavorful, the food’s solid, and the baristas are friendly. The space is large, and they fill it with good energy. But what really sets this place apart is the people. When I was going through a rough patch, I spent countless hours tucked away in a corner writing. Not once did anyone bat an eye at whether I ordered one coffee or ten, whether I took my meals there or not. I always got the same welcoming smile, and authentically good energy from the staff and owners alike. Owned by two genuinely kind humans, Rachel and Scott Elliott, this shop has quietly become a place of refuge and community for folks around East Cocalico—and I’ll always be grateful for what it gave me when I needed it most. Be sure to check out their site for menus or event rental information—I've not been in attendance to any, but I've seen the care with which they prepare: They're who I'll talk to next time I need such a space.“

“Scratch bakes has coffee and desserts, along with a beautiful seating space. It’s a good spot to come in the afternoon for a social meeting or a relaxing place to work. Acoustically it is a little echoey, but there is music that helps it from having a dead silence.“

They went above and beyond to accommodate everything from dietary restrictions to working in the theme of the shower. “Was so pleasantly surprised by this little cafe. My friend and I were antiquing and gps said this cafe was 10 minutes away, so we went, but truly it was right in the mix of all the shops we were planning to go to anyway. Their menu is extensive, their chicken salad was great, and their apple raisin coleslaw was the best I’ve ever had. Will probably spend some time trying to figure out how to recreate that. The service was wonderful and was surprised by how cute the place was. Had a great coffee as we left. Highly recommend.“
