“I used Courtyard's catering services for my wedding rehearsal dinner, and everything was absolutely amazing! Courtney was very responsive, accomodated dietary restrictions, and offered an amazing selection of unique foods and desserts for our meal. I had so many people come up to me afterwards and say how amazing the food was (top faves were the roasted butternut squash and the apple crisp cheesecake). I couldn't recommend Courtyard Cafe more highly for any of your catering needs!“

“Beautiful place to stop for ice cream, light fare and shopping. Local items available to purchase from their farm in dry goods as well as frozen and refrigerated items. Cute play area for kids. Plenty of parking. Prices were very reasonable!“

“I’ve been coming to Cocalico Coffee Crafters for about a year and a half now—and I should have written this sooner. CCC is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a place with the warmth of a hearth, and the heart to match. Their Haitian espresso is rich and flavorful, the food’s solid, and the baristas are friendly. The space is large, and they fill it with good energy. But what really sets this place apart is the people. When I was going through a rough patch, I spent countless hours tucked away in a corner writing. Not once did anyone bat an eye at whether I ordered one coffee or ten, whether I took my meals there or not. I always got the same welcoming smile, and authentically good energy from the staff and owners alike. Owned by two genuinely kind humans, Rachel and Scott Elliott, this shop has quietly become a place of refuge and community for folks around East Cocalico—and I’ll always be grateful for what it gave me when I needed it most. “I went here on Saturday. I was on a bus trip with my church family from Connecticut to see the play Joshua at Sight and Sounds in Lancaster. Then we went to the outlets. By the time we got to the outlets, I was not feeling well and I was having some mobility issues, so I couldn't really walk around the outlets. I sat on a bench for a while and I saw two girls walking by with two iced coffees. From where I was sitting I could see the label of the coffee cup down the hill on the sign for the cafe so I decided to try to walk down there to get some coffee.
I am so glad I went in the cafe it was so nice and beautiful and appeared very clean and maybe have air conditioning. The staff was so nice they told me to go to the back to read the menu and then I can order. I had a shamrock iced coffee which was wonderful and this delicious asiago bagel with homemade cream cheese. It was amazing! It really hit the spot. I sat in a booth and people watched and watch the news on my YouTube. I am so grateful for this Cafe that I was able to enjoy my trip to the outlets even though I couldn't get around that much. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality and wonderful food! I hope to come back sometime when we visit again.“

“Many grocery stores have an area to get s bite to eat. Many do it well, but Dutch-Way and their Cafe do it Very, Very Well. The cafe and open kitchen are absolutely spotless, the food is served fast and always to our liking and it is always delicious. The menu doesn't overwhelm in size but there is something for everyone and they do it well.

“Kitchen Kettle Village was such a fun and charming stop! There were so many shops to explore — from homemade treats to handcrafted decor — and even some of the cutest little Airbnbs right on-site. I could’ve taken home so many snacks and goodies, but the semi can only hold so much 😂 We still managed to bring back a few favorites! The fudge-making was so fun to watch (and taste!), and the pretzels, ice cream, and kettle corn are absolute must-tries. It made for such a nice, relaxing afternoon in the heart of Amish Country, and we can’t wait to come back again soon! 🛍️🍦🌾“

“I had heard good things about Scratch Bakes. I just got a cupcake and peach tea. I also saw a meal someone else ordered. The cupcake was very tasty and the tea refreshing. The indoor seating is very pleasant, quiet, and layed back. There is also outdoor seating. The service was friendly and helpful!“

“We arrived with a large group of 20 or so last night (on a Friday night) and there were only 2 young ladies working. But I’m here to say they absolutely KILLED IT! 💗🔥They were focused, and got the job beautifully done! The food was absolutely amazing and I was so impressed how fast they brought it out with the workload we gave them. I’m sure it was stressful but the cashier was kind and patient with us as she took our orders and the other girl was in the back making food like a boss. 👏 (please give them a raise!) 😉
