The space is large, and they fill it with good energy. But what really sets this place apart is the people. “I used Courtyard's catering services for my wedding rehearsal dinner, and everything was absolutely amazing! Courtney was very responsive, accomodated dietary restrictions, and offered an amazing selection of unique foods and desserts for our meal. I had so many people come up to me afterwards and say how amazing the food was (top faves were the roasted butternut squash and the apple crisp cheesecake). I couldn't recommend Courtyard Cafe more highly for any of your catering needs!“

“I went here on Saturday. I was on a bus trip with my church family from Connecticut to see the play Joshua at Sight and Sounds in Lancaster. Then we went to the outlets. By the time we got to the outlets, I was not feeling well and I was having some mobility issues, so I couldn't really walk around the outlets. I sat on a bench for a while and I saw two girls walking by with two iced coffees. From where I was sitting I could see the label of the coffee cup down the hill on the sign for the cafe so I decided to try to walk down there to get some coffee.
I am so glad I went in the cafe it was so nice and beautiful and appeared very clean and maybe have air conditioning. The staff was so nice they told me to go to the back to read the menu and then I can order. I had a shamrock iced coffee which was wonderful and this delicious asiago bagel with homemade cream cheese. It was amazing! It really hit the spot. I sat in a booth and people watched and watch the news on my YouTube. I am so grateful for this Cafe that I was able to enjoy my trip to the outlets even though I couldn't get around that much. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality and wonderful food! I hope to come back sometime when we visit again.“

“This is my absolute FAVORITE coffee shop I have ever had. Me and my boyfriend travel a lot for motocross and try coffee all over the US but this is consistently the best one. The workers are always super friendly and helpful. I remember one time a new girl was training and she accidentally messed up our order and they gave us a coupon for a new drink. In addition, it is one of the only places I can find that makes a brown sugar shaken espresso and especially one with REAL sugar not the fake syrup. We always will go out of our way to get our favorite coffee. So tasty and worth every penny!!!“

When the weather is right they have great outdoor seating where the kids can move around and us adults could catch up instead of trying to make sure our kids stay seated! My husband and I stopped in during our visit to Intercourse, and it was the perfect way to start the day. I ordered the Chai Tea Latte, and he got the Pumpkin Spice Latte — both were absolutely delicious. Perfectly balanced flavors, warm spices, and that cozy, homemade feel you just can’t get from a chain coffee shop.
