“What truly sets The Village Haus apart is its deep connection to the community. With Adamstown’s population of around 2,000, this restaurant feels like an extension of everyone’s living room. The local owner and staff greet patrons like old friends, sharing stories and laughter. They embody the spirit of small-town hospitality, making each visit feel like a homecoming. As the sun sets, local musicians fill the air with live melodies. Whether it’s a folk tune or a classic ballad, their performances add magic to the evenings. And if you choose to dine outdoors, the view of the main square is picturesque—a slice of Stoudtsburg’s charm. The staff at The Village Haus redefine exceptional service. They anticipate your needs, offer genuine recommendations, and ensure that every detail is just right. It’s evident that they take immense pride in their work, treating guests like cherished family members. The Village Haus isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a haven where flavors, stories, and community converge. “Great fun and excellent smoothie! The only downside is that it can be tricky to get in at that busy intersection. The staff must do energy shots all day. They are in the zone ! The coffee is just as expert as the competitor. S. Not as expensive though.Betsy the pup says “don’t forget the pup cup! Good to the last drop! “ Her nose got stuck!“

“My husband and I went for the first time this morning and will definitely be back! The man who made our coffee was super knowledgeable about coffee and answered all our questions. My husband got a latte and I got the Brazil pour over. We loved them both!“

“We stopped in after visiting Green Dragon and they were so busy. The cold brew cream coffee was out of this world good. And the bagels and cream cheese were some of the best we’ve had in Lancaster County. The staff was so friendly and communicated so well with us during the whole process of ordering, down to bringing out our bagels all hot and toasty and packed with cream cheese.“

“Stumbled across Javateas when I was waiting for my fashion cents consignments to be processed. I’m glad I found them! What a cute venue - tucked back in off the main highway. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee! My drip coffee with oat milk and pb syrup was delicious. Javateas is a unique venue with enough space to not feel cramped but quaint enough that it still feels cozy. I want to come back for dinner and cocktails!“

“This is a busy location. I think it's the only Starbucks around. Nothing horrible about it. I liked my tall blonde. My impossible sausage muffin was good but the presentation was sloppy, you could tell it was made quickly and nuked with how the bun was stuck halfway off. The restaurant was clean. The servers were friendly. Parking lot is okay, but tight and extremely busy. Also pulling out of the parking lot can be tough with the traffic situation there.“
“Just wanted to give a shout out that all the cookies that Laura makes are amazing from the drop cookies (which if you take and melt a marshmallow like you would making a smore and sandwich in between her drop cookies it is amazing)Plus her decorated cookies puts a smile on peoples faces because they are so cute and some people have a hard time eating them because of that. LOLAlso the baby shower cookies she made for my two nieces this year were absolutely adorable and delicious. Keep the cookies coming. Thanks so much!“
