“Came here after getting shafted at mikado and im pretty sure we made the right decision. As soon as we walked in we were seated and drink order taken, the server was extremely friendly and he was wearing a cat (heavy equipment) shirt. He took our sushi order which was fairly large and our sushi came out fairly quickly and it was delicious. Do yourself a favor and skip the b.s. at mikado, grab yourself some beer or wine and head to sapporo east! It’s b.y.o.b“

“I like this little restaurant a lot. I like it more than Chalit's. The prices seem cheaper for lunch and their tom yum soup is always yummy. Since we stopped going to awful Costco on East shore and going to Sam's Club now, we are now eating lunch more often when we go to Sam's out here so we often come here for lunch. I have no clue why Chalit's has high reviews and I will not be going there anymore.I just love the Tom Yum. That is a meal in itself with an appetizer like the chicken toast or egg roll. The Penang chicken was ok but a little watery. I like it more oily, but it tastes better than Chalit's Penang. The garnish of orange is a nice touch. Restaurant is very clean and looks cozy.“

“Mom and pop Pho place. The chef comes out and gives you your coffee. BEST COFFEE I'VE EVER HAD. I'm a self proclaimed coffee snob and this is legitimately the best coffee I've tasted in a loooong time. It's made with a small amount of water dripped through grounds from a different species of coffee bean. Very similar mouth feel and taste to espresso, but with far less acidity. The Pho is great too.“

“*Edit - so this was a case of lack of/mis - information. So happy to hear that the bowls are still around, and will definitely have to check it out again. Kiosks to come soon for easy ordering and you can order bowls online - it's simply no longer quick service. I appreciate the fast response and the shrimp we had last night were very good, if not what we expected!Original post - This place used to be an amazing quick service restaurant with amazing build your own bowls. Went in tonight and it's now a sit-down place with none of the healthy options that were on their quick service? Bring back the old Freshido!“

“Excellent accommodating service, masterfully prepared sushi, and a wonderful atmosphere at this location. Ordered a couple rolls from their incredible selection , which is clearly described on the menu. An order of crab balls and some complimentary black bass and rice to try. All were amazing! Thank you to the kind waitress, the sushi chef, and the owner for an incredible lunch experience.“

“When I say this is the best Japanese food in the area I MEAN IT!! We popped in by accident and it was so unsuspecting but the care that went into the food cannot be overstated. I never thought I’d be entirely wowed by a miso soup but I was!!! The flavor of everything we had was obviously very carefully thought through. We will definitely be going here anytime we’re craving sushi!“

“Best Pad Thai I've ever had, the tamarind sauce was sooo good! I wasn't a fan of the Thai dumplings (never had them before, so probably a personal thing), but the quality was good. The tea came in a very generous serving, it felt like a never ending pot! I wish they would play some music softly in the background, but I love everything else about this place, it doesn't even matter. The prices, especially at lunch time are beyond reasonable especially with the serving sizes, which are huge! They are attentive and kind. 10/10 would recommend!“
