Chinese Restaurants near Dingmans Ferry

“I must say, I was a bit weary to try another Chinese restaurant in the area, new panda is terrible (sorry, not sorry). When I arrived I was early, the young man that helped me was very pleasant to talk to. I was happy to learn they make everything from scratch, from the egg rolls to the cheese wontons all hand wrapped! The dumplings were the best I’ve ever had (I’m from NY, not upstate either) the cheese wontons you could tell were fresh and made with real cream cheese, (yes, they must use frozen at other places) they were very creamy and flavorful. Also, their sweat and sour sauce doesn’t taste like cough syrup! I am so happy to find a good Chinese restaurant in the area! I will def be back! Thank you!!“

“Our experience was good over all though you could tell we came within an hr and a half of closing. No new food was brought out everything left was tough or over cooked but we were able to find eatable items and had a good time overall. Next time will come earlier to avoid this.“

“I was apprehensive about ordering food based on the reviews but actually the food wasn’t bad. The fried wontons were great, and the soup and chicken chow mein were not bad. I also got two fortune cookies and when I asked for soy sauce, I got two packets. I simply asked for more and got them.“

“We order take out from Chang Mao regularly because the food is so good. The staff is polite and the place is clean. Never had a bad dish here. Jumbo Shrimp Hunan style and Roast pork LoMein are a few of our favorites. Highly recommend this restaurant.“
