“My wife and I went out and had dinner there with our Daughter and her boyfriend. Two of the four orders were completely wrong. They said it would be a long wait to bring out the correct orders so we kept the two wrong orders. My wife and our Daughters boyfriend were not crazy over the burgers they ate due to being not what was ordered and did not like the sauce on the burgers they were given. They ate about half. They took one of the bill. The place is nice, the food I thought was good. Would go back again and hope to get a the correct food order this time. There is a wait to get your food but that means they are making it fresh. Nice addition to the town.”

“I recently went there for an afternoon out with a few friends. The bartender, Marina, was lovely and so welcoming. She was friendly and attentive and really made you feel like you were at “home”. I look forward to going back again!”

“I must say, I was a bit weary to try another Chinese restaurant in the area, new panda is terrible (sorry, not sorry). When I arrived I was early, the young man that helped me was very pleasant to talk to. I was happy to learn they make everything from scratch, from the egg rolls to the cheese wontons all hand wrapped! The dumplings were the best I’ve ever had (I’m from NY, not upstate either) the cheese wontons you could tell were fresh and made with real cream cheese, (yes, they must use frozen at other places) they were very creamy and flavorful. Also, their sweat and sour sauce doesn’t taste like cough syrup! I am so happy to find a good Chinese restaurant in the area! I will def be back! Thank you!!”

“Mixed experiences multiple visits here. Some great visits, most recently cold food and inconsistent. Owner asked for feedback then became aggressive with my girlfriend when she told her the soup was cold and my sandwich was shredded instead of whole ribs. If the owners cooking, it’s been good. Otherwise, not very good. Atmosphere mixed, 2 separate rooms with VERY different vibes. Bar area is fun, but friendly lacks. Dining area less fun, but super friendly. Depends on the day. Be careful if you have complaints, owner is quite loud and defensive. She could be less confrontational as we were very calm and gave feedback which she asked for us to give if any future problems were to arise. She also approched our table saying “always a problem” instead of a simple “hi” or asking us what our complaint was. (We only had one complaint one other time which she corrected a burnt quesadilla) Not sure if we’ll be back anytime soon which stinks because it’s one of the few places in the area we are close to and is open late at night.”

“We went there yesterday for my Granddaughters birthday. The food was Amazing. They are the sweetest people ever. They came over singing to my Granddaughter with ice cream and a cookie. They even had a balloon for her. The are the Best. You definitely have to try them out. Will be back again.”

“The wraparound porch is the perfect extension of this elevated all-American historical eatery. Seriously kind and attentive service. Pig and fig pizza had the perfect char and flavor balance. Chicken sandwich had overly generous chicken cutlets and beautifully balanced coleslaw, apple, spicy mayo. Highly recommend a stop here!”

“I was hiking a section of the Appalachian Trail, and some other hikers told me of this place. I was so hungry and when I got there the food smells were so good, I had to stop. I had my dog with me but the owner had no problems with me tying the dog out back where there are picnic tables while I ordered. The owner loves dogs and is very friendly to both the dog and I. The food was delicious and the portions so large that I was full before I even finished my lunch. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants good service, good food and a caring restaurant owner. Thanks Mo and crew!”

“My wife and I had a wonderful experience while perusing the shop. I particularly love the fact that nothing there is made in China or Russia due to their abysmal human rights records. That. Matters. “Stopped in several times while biking along The Paulinskill Valley Trail and always a solid spot to stay hydrated along the trail. During my most recent visit, started off with a South Island Scoundrel – Hazy IPA - 6.0% (Brewed with Nelson Sauvin & Motueka hops, this IPA has tropical flavors with a smooth white wine essence all packed into a hazy juice bomb!) and finished with a Splatter Pattern – Double IPA - 7.5% (Artfully crafted with 5 hop varieties (Mosaic, Citra, Bru-1, Sabro, & Idaho 7), each sip creates a splatter of flavors: tropical citrus fruit, tangerine and dank pine blend together in a delightful pattern.)

Staff is always friendly and the locals are always welcoming as well.

While I cant fault them, wish they were open more during the week when I do a majority of my riding . Ive passed by this spot many times wishing they were open and realize id be probably be the only person there drinking beer on a Tuesday afternoon. Once again, no fault on there part but more of gripe that I cant drink there more often.

Ive yet to drive there and one day hope to bring back some of there beer. Unfortunately on a bike, its not a smart idea to carry a six pack along the trail.”

“We were just there over the weekend and it was so worth stopping in for. TBH when we first pulled up it’s not your typical “restaurant/cafe” bc it was surely someone’s home. Not meaning that’s a bad thing just different so you don’t second guess where you are going. Now the food! The food was amazing! Mac and cheese grilled panini? You will fall off of your chair good! You can really feel the time that went into our soup as well. Tomato basil was so homemade and flavorful! We will definitely be stopping in again and would go out of our way to do so! “I’d seen the posts on FB about this restaurant and decided it was worth the journey of 2 hours to get there from Bucks county New Hope area. The verdict ~ it was definitely worth the trip. The food, service and authentic rustic original atmosphere was definitely worth our time in travel. THE ONLY CAUTION I HAVE IS ~ do not travel to the Inn from the Blairstown NJ direction ~ albeit a beautiful route through the mountains of the Delaware National recreation park ~ THE ROADS ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!! The roads have not been paved nor tended to for decades and are a disaster! Travel via newton Nj or over the Dingman’s Ferry pa/nj bridge.”

“the food at Lakeside Tavern is awesome the chefs in the kitchen are wonderful they put love and care and all their dishes if you want a good Hardy dinner for a reasonable price then try Lakeside Tavern the Rubens and there Philly cheese steaks and prime rib dinners on Friday night and their demonaco teriyaki steak is absolutely delicious stop in and give it a try you won't be disappointed”
