“WEGMAN'S COUNTRY DELI & CATERING IS CLOSING! NOOOOOOOOOOO! I can't blame them, these kind folks who have been supplying us with INCREDIBLE country dishes for over 50-60 YEARS are finally closing. They've been working so hard for so long, I'm happy for them that they're able to retire. I'm sad for my stomach as their food has been SO GOOD!If you want (or need!) to get your Pennsylvania Dutch food fix, you'd better do it fast! Their last day of business is 12/30/2023. Please be kind to them, i'm sure they've been doing their absolute best, but after so many decades they all deserve a break and a rest.They make ham salad and their large baked lima beans just like my grandmother used to make. They've got shoo-fly pies, pickled red-beet eggs, creamed chipped-beef (aka SOS), and on and on and on. Get on out there and get what you can while you can! Will be sad to see them go of course.“
