“I stopped at this DD for a cup of coffee, and everything was as it should be for a DD stop. My only concern with this DD is that it is in a gas station and the signage is small. I missed it unaware that it is not a stand-alone DD. I tried to believe my wazes and found it.

Parking: You have to pull into a gas station and find parking.“

“My sweetheart and I went here on our second date. The original plan was to meet at Dead King Bread in Manyunk, and then hike in the Wissahickon. Dead King was closed, however, and my sweetheart quickly suggested Roma Cafe as an alternative. I'm ashamed to say that I never knew about this bakery. When I think of Italian bakeries, I typically think of South Philly. This is the real deal. An interior that harkens back to earlier times, and probably owners that harken back to an earlier time!

It was here that I discovered that my sweetheart is extravagant with treats, especially sweets. As a bit of a minimalst, I chose a rather bland biscuit. He chose an array of half a dozen treats, including canolies.

When we eventually made our way to the Wissahickon, we discovered that we had each packed more treats for the hike - cheese, grapes. He brought the most wonderful brie from Trader Joes that was as soft and gooey as if you had baked it in the oven. I noted with approval that he was equipped with a good picnic bag, as was I.

As we walked through the Wissahickon, I was captivated by his friendliness to everyone we passed on the trails, including the dogs.

“New place. Came here via FB event, "Cars & Doughnuts". Small independent business. Pretty good mochi. I had a creme Brule mochi and a chai tea. I didn't like the Boba balls, tbh I don't get the fad surrounding them. Good service, they're gonna need more workers for sure, I can see this place getting popular. The chai was awesome, way better than any other place of recent memory. The mochi was good too, not too sweet like pastries you would find at a DD or Wawa. They didn't hurt my stomach and were quite pleasant. I will be returning.“

“Great customer service and was very patient taking the order. Very welcoming workers and made me feel at ease. The funnel cake mochi donut was pretty good and filled that need of the broadwalk but saved me that long drive of going to the beach. That mozzarella corn dog was the item that will definitely get me coming back to this location. The nice older lady in the back made in fresh as it was ordered. The coating was crunchy and the sugar added a nice touch of sweet to make me keep going back even though it was hot. Will definitely be coming back!!!“

“This place is the definition of hospitality. A rarity in today's market. My gf and I started coming here. We saw it a while ago and for some reason just started coming here. And we absolutely wish we came sooner.When I say this place is A1, it's because Mom's has got you. The ladies here got the hot n cold food. If you hot, well they got dozens of drinks options; you gotta go drop off em kids n need somethin warm in the AM come here for coffee n tea.I'm telling you this place a rarity cuz it's the last few of a dying breed. This place respects it's patrons and people respect this place cuz they are for the people; the everyday people who need a warm meal in the AM, or a fresh midday snack. “I’ve been going to this location and ridge Ave since I was a little girl. The donuts alone are amazing but the food is good, the customer service is on point, the prices are cheaper than most around and the wait isn’t long. They stuck with me lol“

“Personally, it is my favorite place to get my fruit smoothies. Very affordable prices for each of their sizes. Prices may change due to Democratic's inflation ??. But for now, their biggest cup is a jumbo size. And it's under $7. Also, love there, Lemon Jelly Donuts. The staff are very friendly and pleasant.“

“Very good coffee .it's right up there with dunkin As far as taste and quality...maybe even better.The prices are very reasonable and much cheaper than Dunkin so that's definitely a plus. “I've tried a few other dunkin in the neighborhood on uber eats and the order would be wrong or sandwich not cooked/melted all the way. I finally found this store and saw 5 stars so decided to try them. I was so glad I did. I've ordered quite a few times and it's always right, delicious and fresh! I decided to stop in today and every last staff was friendly and warm. I asked for the manager to let her know I order on uber and coming in just showed me even more why they deserve 5 stars ?. “I come here almost every morning to get a smoothie before going to work and it’s always so good . Affordable prices for the baked goods and fruit . The ladies are always so nice. I recommend trying their smoothies no joke . And it’s clean when you go inside .“

I never see them at this location and an employee who's been there for 5 months said they have never seen them either. What does this location have against chocolate chip muffins?
