“This place has come a long way and still standing. I tried breakfast when first opened/debuted, and I was not happy at all, to say the least. Ordered egg white omelet, no cheese, and just did not get what I ordered. After hearing much better reviews from other patrons, I decided to give it one more try. I must say i was pleasantly surprised💯. Our waitress (sorry forgot name) greeted us with a smile. Hot coffee and water arrived not even 10mins after sitting! Ordered breakfast and about another 15mins-20mins, breakfast arrived coupled w the most beautiful lake views on this side of Drums PA❣️💯. Will definitely be coming back w the family! Thank you, Beech Mountain Lakes! We finally have breakfast in our "backyard"✌️“

“Came here for mine and my boyfriend's 1 year anniversary, this place did not disappoint! The servers were very kind and had a pleasant upbeat vibe. The food was AMAZING, we got fried green beans and mozzarella sticks as appetisers and they were so good we almost ordered seconds. The drinks were tasty and decently priced, I'd absolutely recommend coming here. Will be crossing the pond again one day to get my hands on more mozzarella sticks. ?❤️“

Edit: I figured I'd give an update, food is still good and service is great.

However my main complaint would be with the drinks and cocktails. Compared to other places they are fairly smaller and twice the cost. Also it seems like the total content of alcohol in the drinks has decreased, which kind of turns me off from ordering more. Since the portioning seems to have decreased but prices increased, and then the total content also decreasing it feels like the price quadrupled. I definitely feel when it comes to drinks other places offer a better value.“

“We just left and it was absolutely outstanding! With our party of 7 for my daughter's 18th birthday we ordered a bit of everything on the menu. Every person was thrilled with the service and the food was delicious as always! Julia, our server, was attentive and professional. I have always loved this restaurant and will come back every chance we get.“

“Come here often. My service is always timely. Never had an issue with waiting. The original owners have a 10 star. The new owners started a little shaky but are picking up the pace nicely. “I love John’s! The food is great and if you are lucky to get Sharon as a waitress, she has the best sense of humor with her warm hearted charm! She and Cheri are the most efficient in the breakfast morning moving along like a fine oiled machine. Warming the coffee just in time for the next sip, Always getting the order correct, very attentive to every customer not just their own. Sharon makes me laugh-a nice start to the day! Now thats a great waitress! John is fortunate to have these two ladies who work hard to bring about a great dining experience! Highly recommend the place.“

“I have had the opportunity to try Izzy’s burgers at The Office twice now and have nothing but great things to say about them! The burger is freshly made to my liking with toppings of my choice. I do keto and have tried all the burgers on the mountain and Izzy’s burgers are by far in my opinion the best burgers on the mountain! Pictured below in the comments is my burger. Cooked medium, with no bun, Toppings I chose were Swiss cheese, fried onions and blue cheese. I highly recommend coming to the office for some drinks, checking out the new menu and letting Izzy’s kitchen prepare your next meal!“

“I was craving some fish and chips, so decided to give this place a try. The fish was slightly overcooked, but the flavor was good. The portion size was generous for the price. However, there was no one to greet guests at the entrance. You had to walk around the building and through the bar to find someone and seat yourself.“
