My last order was of the eggs and corned beef hash combo, and the eggs were done so perfectly that I briefly thought my late Mother was cooking for them....and that's a compliment of the highest order! “Hands down the best and most popular resturant in NEPA. This place is always jammed packed, even on holidays. Wait staff, and management really take care of their customers. I reccomend the ceaser salad and hanger steak. The creme brulee is the best and highly sought after. You are never dissapointed here- even the kitchen staff will come out and check on you. A+++“

“Come here often, usually get the same thing every time. Had two dishes come back completely raw, one was the Bourbon street chicken which they remade for us but the other was the cinnamon swirls (to-go). got home and went to have some of the dessert just go have a mouth full of completely raw dough. don't know who's in the kitchen but damn- this was a first and a dangerous one at that“

“we had a wonderful dining experience tonight. food was great, staff was nice and we were happy to know they are peanut free. any time we go out to eat we are constantly worried about peanut bc our daughter has a severe peanut allergy. when we go places and ask a lot of the time we get rude answers. which is super nerve wracking when you are worried about your child. Not here! they were so friendly and reassuring! I'm sure we will be dining here again!“

“I'm so glad that my friends invited me to join them on Friday night. Place was packed what they had enough Boston goes behind the bar to take orders.. I was told that they have very good buffalo wings so I ordered some. They have the best wings in town. My friend asked me to try a bite of her plate and I did and it was super good. I do recommend joining this place.“

“First visit back here in quite awhile. Place has been here in Luzerne a long time. Food was great as was the service. Menu is very large. Lots of options from bar food, entrees and pizza along with apps and great salads. Old school bar with great bartenders who know what they’re doing. Chicken cheesesteak pictured. Great time!“

“I love coming to the Tipsy Turtle, been a staple of where I grew up in Inkerman for years! If you love chicken wings and boneless bites, they’re your main hookup in town with a variety of sauces that’ll keep you occupied for many trips to come. I recommend the Inferno 666 sauce for the adventurous types who love heat as much as I do! The burgers are also fantastic here, served with a generous portion of fries. For fries, definitely go with the shore fries for the best experience.“

“My girlfriends and I are on a mini vacation in Wilkes Barre PA, and we went to Isabella for dinner. Before going in we decided to take some pictures together. While trying to do a selfie two lovely people offered to take the picture for us. They were so kind and very friendly. Little that we knew they were the owners of Isabella and we talk with them. “Actually came here as a second choice. Not from the immediate area, I only had been to a popular bar restaurant up the road. That place couldn't seat our party of 5. We came here. Seated immediately, server was friendly. Pizza and wings were great! The Checkerboard is now my first choice when I'm up this way.“
