“Our long time friends and coworkers met there for the first time and it was FABULOUS! Carol was a doll and so interesting to talk with. Her homemade soup, finger sandwiches and desserts (try her homemade scones and homemade whipped crème) were delicious. We certainly didn’t go away hungry. Her vintage style was heartwarming. She kept filling our cups with hot water in the many teapots that she has collected, along with the many types of tea. Oh I forgot to mention she even stenciled the dining room floor!! “We were in Scranton for a softball tournament and a friend from back home recommended Joyce’s. We were so glad we tried it because the food was great and the owner were so very kind. They treated us like family even got pictures with us which I posted. We are planning a trip back just to see them!“

We stopped by for dinner and drinks tonight. My husband had chicken cheese steak and it was delicious. The chicken is fresh not frozen. The bun was toasted. So delicious. . Made to order, asked if he wanted the peppers and cheese on it. He dis. So yummy

I had a pizza with onions. It was thin and and plenty of cheese and onions. They were not skimpy. . It was so delicious .

“I have been going to the bagel bar since it opened. I’ve had sandwiches, salads, hot food, cold food, bagels, pastries, breads and I have NEVER had anything that wasn’t delicious. The only issue is at times the staff is overwhelmed and service can be a little slow when teenagers are behind the counter and are too nice to customers when there is a backlog instead of being short and sweet and moving on to the next customer. The pricing and portions are fine if you remember this is kosher food. The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet enough to work. I will continue to eat there.“

They have smoothie that people rave about as well! But can we talk about the building itself? The roaring fireplace at the entry is perfect for a winter’s day or Autumn night!
