July 2026- While traveling from NC to NY, stayed the night nearby. Decided on dinner at Mad Chef via a recommendation. There were 10 of us-family weekend trip. I'm somewhat easy to please but pretty hard to impress. Mad Chef totally impressed: from the service, to the food, to the craft beer, to the atmosphere! We each ordered our own plate (mine, the delish fish tacos) and ordered appetizers to run the table. The food was so much more than I anticipated and drinks...
This is always one of our favorites. We can walk there from our house. They do a good job rotating the menu. Nice craft beer selection. Get the fries if you like those. Lots of great dipping sauce choices.
We were there for the 11th anniversary celebration. The food, beer, & drinks are wonderful, however, there are not enough healthy options. Most of the dishes are breaded m, bread-heavy, or fried.
