“YES! A Hollywood- themed dive, dive, dive bar in historical Turtle Creek, equipped with a dj booth and glossy signed framed photos of people I have never heard of.....Let the beer drinking begin! Had drinks here recently right before Christmas and I could barely see my drinking companions due to the glitz and sparkle all around me. Two clocks hung on the wall above us- Hollywood time and Showbar time. Both broken. Both the same time. Wait.....where am I again? Transported back to the West Coast? Ah, it must be Pittsburgh because the 70+ year old fella in the blue suspenders and conductor cap just lit up a cig. Showbar time indeed! I tried to find out who decided to open a Hollywood themed bar in the middle of nowhere, but no one seemed to know. But I will say, check this place out! Free snacks of pepperoni and cheese chunks and, around the holidays, a free lottery ticket! Just try your yuengling first to make sure it's not skunked.“

Brians' Park Place Tavern Bar • $
534 Peebles St, Pittsburgh - 4.31 miles

“This place ROCKS. I really can’t pinpoint what it is, but every single time I’ve walked through that door, I laughed till I cried, drank good and danced all night long. Julie behind the bar is a very important piece to this puzzle. Best bartender ever, hands down!“

Cousins Lounge Bar • $$
203 Grant Ave, Millvale - 9.03 miles

“If you come to relax, listen to some music and have a few drinks, then you found your spot. Leave your nonsense and drama at the door and you’ll be welcome by the local patrons and attentive bartenders. Both indoor and outdoor space, food, entertainment such as karaoke, all night vinyl, paint night or talented musicians to keep you engaged and entertained. But in my opinion, you can have just as much fun on a low-key jukebox night :)“

“My coworker and I decided that a night on the town was much needed but wanted a different scene than the norm. Jekyll and Hyde was exactly what the doctor ordered! I loved the decor and the drinks were fantastic and quite affordable (I had spooky juice and my coworker had their signature, the Jack-O-Lantern). I also enjoyed the live karaoke and will be back soon for some good ole spooky fun!“

“The people here are so friendly and welcoming. This place had everything. It had all the gothic alternative punk rock vibes and I loved it. Larry was my bartender and he was pretty cool. I ended up playing pool with some people in the back and had a great time. This is definitely a go to staple when it comes to dive bars in Pittsburgh. Definitely my #1!“

“Food and portions are great. Waitress seemed a little overwhelmed as she kept going from table to table, looking for ranch dressing and other condiments as if they didn't have enough bottles to go around. They brought appetizers and salad and soup out together. We got potato skins and the cheese inside reminded me of cheese whiz. They kept asking if we were done, as if they needed our plates. It's not much to look at, and bathrooms are not in the best shape. Actually I think they had to many people to wait on and possibly not enough help which you find in a lot of places today. Not sure we will return.Parking: Parking is limited as their parking lot seemed to be used by others. It was pretty full when we got there but when we went in its not that big, so all the people from the cars were not inside the restaurant“

“The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. The food was amazing. We had wings, a steak hoagie, and onion rings. The Wings were cooked just right. The bartender and cook were very friendly. Drinks are not expensive. We met the new owner. He thanked us for trying his place out and even bought us a drink.“
