“It's a bar set up hard to talk with friends at dinner was told by other people that said great food they are right hopefully down the road the menu will get some dinner specials. But overall the place was great and I will be back dessert was good. Thanks for being a good place to eat locally. Good prices.”
“Great food! Plus if you like the potato patch cheese fries from kennywood..... their fries with cheese taste just like them! Ingredients were fresh and food was hot upon arrival (ordered through Uber Eats)Will be back to try more items as they have a great menu as well.”
“I haven't been inside for awhile but.. I also grew up in this bar I've been karokeing and dancing the since I turned 21 and the food and fun times roll on”
“Nice little convenience store in a small plaza on Greensburg Pike. Has the standard convenience store offerings, plus lottery sales. Nice staff...but they're definitely Covid aware...quite an impressive barrier system set up between the cashier and customer. Good spot for a quick in and out.”
“Plaza Lounge is one of the best local bar and grill restaurants in the neighborhood. Great food, good atmosphere, decent prices. Recommend trying the turkey club, egg salad, and the legendary Reuben!”
“This place is one of...if not THE BEST restaurant in the area. Food was amazing with so many choices with such great textures and flavors melded together. Service here is impeccable and the ambiance is perfect. We will definitely be back for more if we get a reservation.”
“I come from a Mexican family in California, so when I moved to Pittsburgh, I was deeply disappointed at the lack of good, authentic Mexican food. When I found this place, I rejoiced! The food is amazing: made with the authentic basics in mind, yet refined with originality. It really feels like home in all the best ways.”
“Beyond being some of the (if not the sole) best Italian food I have ever had, what stands out most about Dish Osteria is their commitment to true hospitality; we arrived early to have drinks at the bar, and from the start we were treated with care and true personal interest. The bartender was so insightful and walked us through the menu, answering any questions we might have so that we could order our dinner with ease (it was last Wednesday at 8PM— I forget his name, but please give him his flowers. He was amazing!). I had the Little Bird bourbon cocktail and absolutely loved it. This level of care continued as we moved to our table for dinner. Our waiter and host went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meal, refreshing our bread without us having to ask (that homemade focaccia was dangerous— we couldn’t stop eating it!), suggesting wine pairings, and also allowing us to taste two options when we couldn’t choose. Every single dish we ordered was phenomenally crafted and delicious ; we ordered the Gamberi shrimp and grilled artichoke salad to start, followed by the short rib ragu gnocchi and rigatoni with smoked scamorza for our entrees (I will dream about both of these dishes for some time). For dessert, we had the lemon cello cheesecake, which was perfectly balanced with sweet and tangy flavors. Our waiter also provided us with a complimentary glass of moscato with our dessert. This was a phenomenal first experience at this restaurant and I cannot wait to come back. I’m also gifting a visit here to some of my friends for their anniversary and can’t wait for them to try it as well!”
“Very very good, small curated menu with lots of freshness. Very good service, alekhya was extremely sweet and gave good suggestions.Had a great time.Vegetarian options: Yes”
“This place is AMAZING! My mom and I are in town for a college tour, and many people were walking around with the ice cream so I suggested we give it a try. Immediately the two guys in there were delightful and very helpful and cheery. The atmosphere was so fun the moment we walked in. The flavors were amazing and I almost couldn’t choose between the Thin Mint and the Pittsburgh Pride. I ended up going with the latter. It is like brownie/oreo/cookie chunks and butterscotch. There might be another thing added. My mom got the pear flavor. We are both extremely satisfied with our choices. They did say that the flavors change up pretty often - for example, they’re getting ready for Blackberry Lemonade. But Pittsburgh Pride will always be available. So if you’re looking for a cute little dessert place after dinner, this is the place!”
“Do yourself a favor and order the potatoes, they are crispy and perfectly seasoned. The bread is amazing as are the other Italian baked goods!Dietary restrictions: There are several baked goods labeled nut-free”
“A great hidden spot, you might miss it driving past but once you come you’ll wonder why you haven’t tried it. Great seating, even more so now that they added a covered and heated exterior.”
“Steve and I enjoyed our Easter dinner at Senti. Chef Antonio created a very fresh Linguine Con Vongole with rapini and brought back his Pollo Valdastana, which was do flavorful with ham and fontina cheese. We enjoyed our time with Holly at the bar and talking with Franco. We just. love the welcoming atmosphere here.”
“Very amazing food, if you are looking for something new or just visiting and want some delicious Lebanese food this is the place to come, the service was amazing and the food was delicious!Parking: Plenty of street parking roughly 2 blocks worth”
“Definitely vegetarian friendly, which is often difficult to find in Pittsburgh. We appreciated the variety of vegetarian options … BBQ Mushroom with Rajas, Buffalo Cauliflower, and Sweet Potato tacos were delicious ?Vegetarian options: Mushroom, Cauliflower, Sweet Potato options for tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas, and salads”
“Owner is such a kind person. Came here after a very long day at work and he gave me a free mango lassi to drink while I waited for the food.Food is absolutely delicious and great por New India Grill is my new favorite spot.”
“A truly unique atmosphere! Had a cigar & whiskey in the cigar lounge which was a really unique (speakeasy) like experience.Dining room was very comfortable. It’s an open concept but it’s not loud. Menus are tablets which can dial in allergies or certain profiles you’re looking for with food, wine, liquors & cigars. You can tell a lot of thought went into the little details. Which is impressive.Dinner- venison loin was cooked perfectly & everything that was on the plate tasted great. Sommelier provided great wine recommendations for courses. Server was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!”
“This place was recommended to me by a friend, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Great service, chatted with one of the owners. He shared his families beginnings, starting with his Nana’s exceptional recipes. They use quality ingredients… then they add pure love, respect and consistency in the food that they put forth daily. Great people, great story and great pizza. The dough was light and crispy, a perfect mix so the toppings can shine! Cash only. A definite must if you’re in Verona!”
“Clean and colorful, all-gender friendly, delicious coffee cakes, very nice owner. He really has a sense of community and is using his space to do good in the community through neighborhood clean-ups, chess events for all levels, and more. Check it out.”
“Picked up a cod dinner for my husband. He is very picky about what he eats. He was more than delighted about the cod pieces. Perfect amount of breading, and perfect amount of cod. The gentleman at the check out area was very friendly and personable. I spotted the pie slices as I was leaving the store. I will defiantly be back for food and desert.”
“As a Texan, I know BBQ. Big Rig BBQ is legit. The brisket grilled cheese was amazing. Grilled to perfection, crispy outside, and melty cheesy goodness with tender brisket. The service was outstanding. The location was clean, inviting and had great music playing the entire time.Definitely coming back.”
“Dawn was such a cheerful person, greeting us immediately and talking to us like old friends. Was a great first trip and we will be back! Many flavors to choose from!”
“Visited with a friend for dinner yesterday. No wait on a Saturday night. We shared the pakora starter. I got the jollof rice with tofu. My friend got the black bean bowl with rosemary potatoes and a mint lemonade. Everything was absolutely delicious and everyone from the waitstaff to the owner (who came over to introduce himself) were so nice and welcoming. Very reasonably priced. I can't wait to come back and try more. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-31”
“Looking for that truly special restaurant? Spork in Garfield is it! I can't stop thinking about our experience at this chef-led restaurant. This isn't just a restaurant, it's a culinary experience. What sets this place apart is the farm to table ingredients and truly special preparations; which creates dishes that are so dynamic and interesting. The team works with small producers, grows some of their own produce + herbs, and mills their own grain for house made bread. My favorite sip was the "So Long Frankie Louise" cocktail and my favorite bite was the homemade bread roll. When you get a reservation here expect out of this world food & service plus:- Truly great alcohol free options including mocktails, zero proof beer & wine Surprise bites throughout your meal.- Lots of choice & small plates - great for the table to try a little of a variety of dishes.- This is such a unique spot to book for that special occasion.Definitely go hungry and be prepared to be well nourished!”
“*Come here for the BEST vegan cinnamon rolls EVER* While in Pittsburgh for vacation, we learned about this all vegan bakery! WOW! So glad we stopped in for a morning treat! Beautiful store front with the sweetest ladies- we were welcomed by soooo many (all vegan!) goodies! We got a massive choco chip cookie & cinnamon roll to go! The cookie was massive, still hot from the morning baking, melty, doughy & delicious! The cinnamon roll was legit the BEST I’ve ever had! Mind blown! First off, it was huge. It was super doughy in the inside but perfect flake on the outside. Loaded with melted frosting, cinnamon - it was perfect. I have had a LOT of vegan baked goods in my life time but this place knows what’s up! Vegan or not- come here for the best massive cinnamon rolls of your life.”
“Great meal and nice atmosphere. 4 of us split several tapas. Definitely recommend the smoked beef short rib, the pulpo, the beef tartare. Really, everything we tried was delicious. Glad we were able to come here for dinner while visiting Pittsburgh for one night.”
“As a sour girly and a new move to Millvale, I am so happy about this place! They always have a wonderful sour on tap, fire pits and liveliness. Have had their canned beers at many establishments so I’m glad to live close by now!”
