“I was in town visiting friends and decided to stop in and try Sue's. The food was fantastic and service was extremely friendly and fast. We tried the red curry and the Thai fried rice. I highly recommend trying both.“
“The folks and drinks at Silverback are some of the best you will ever encounter. The Blackback Bourbon is by far the best spirit I have ever had. I try to buy multiple bottles whenever I come in because it sells out so often. If you're going in for a drink, make sure you order one of the Smoked Cocktails.“

“How am I just discovering this place now? Had food delivered last night (and then again tonight) and it was FANTASTIC. I don’t say that lightly! The Korean Bulgogi beef tacos are amazing, the sweet burbon bacon burger is incredible along with the sweet plantains and the sticky boneless wings!! So glad we found this place! Keep the great food coming!!“

“If I had to choose a last meal on earth it would be from here. So what if you have to sit by the side of 209 - look the other direction. This food is love. My favorite is the brisket with greens and sweet potato fries. The portions are so big there's seconds and thirds. And it's so damn good every time.“

“Been coming to The Big A since we started coming to The Poconos a few years ago. Tracy’s dishes are all phenomenal but the bourbon peach glazed salmon is exceptional. Sharon has become our favorite waitress since our first visit. If you’re looking for a great meal, try The Big A!“

“My wife and I travel around the country living in vacation rentals. While in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, we came across this Diner. It's more like a New York type Diner than any place we've been in our travels. My wife have the French onion soup, and I had fish and chips. The French onion soup was very good according to my wife, and the Fish and Chips were okay. I asked for the french fries to be well done, and they were barely done. The fish however what's good.
The environment was what you would expect from a diner, so no surprises there. The service was very good, we were seated immediately, ain't that plenty of time to review the menu. The prices were pretty good as well.“

“Zero flavor…chicken barely done…rice tastes like it was from the days ago. Top it all off there was a puddle of oil in the bottom of the container. Nasty nasty nasty!!!“

“We visit the original Bovino's near the high school every couple of weeks. The food is reliably fresh and tasty. Always very good sized portions. Reasonable prices. Service is usually a little slow, but not so much that it keeps us from coming back. Wings are great (bone-in and boneless). Pizza is good. Pretzel appetizer is yummy!“

“Terrible service. Poor manners, no training staff except for the cook. I would not recommend to eat here. We just arrive, we didnt able to sit yet and look at the menu, the chubby lady was already asking for the appetizer and drinks. My 2 year old son french fries was not even finish yet but she took the plate without asking. The food choices are just few, more buffet out there are way better than this restaurant.“

“We ordered Happy Family, Garlic Chicken w/ vegetables, Seafood Noodle Soup, Shrimp Chow Mein, Crab Rangoon, Chicken Wings, Chicken Fries Rice and House Special Fried Rice. EVERYTHING was REALLY delicious, fresh, and cooked to perfection!!! We’ve lived in the Poconos for 14 years, how did we not know! Thank you very much ?“

“Visited Pa from Florida, grew up in NJ , used to live there in Poconos until 9yrs ago. First stop on my “up north visit family and food tour”…. This place is seriously legit NY style. all the way! The Taylor/Egg/Cheese/ on egg bagel was 100% killer!!!! Got two crumb cake pieces as well! 100% legit too! I’m from Jersey so the bar is high for food and this place hit it! Friendly girl at counter and everyone there who I interacted with was the same!!! Little shop across from ESU college but big time flavor and quality!!! Hitting it everyday I’m in town!!! I’d give it 10 Stars if I could. Go there!“
