“This review is based on Covid-19 regulations and thus our food was take-out. Thus this review is on the food quality and service. I ordered a beef on weck sandwich and my husband ordered a hot roast beef sandwich that included choices of sides. His chosen sides were french fries and a garden salad. When we picked up the order, it was hot and ready to go. The food was well packaged in styrofoam containers and bagged. Everything in our order was delicious and prepared from quality lean cuts of meats. Though this was not our first time at Charlies, it was my first review. There are lots of great family owned restaurants in Emporium but don’t forget about this little gem for homestyle fresh cooked meals.“

“2 Coffee Pl. with a friendly owner. I didn't get anything to eat, but it looks like all the other people coming in. We're ordering food, and really seem to enjoy it. It has a certain charm to it, which creates a nice place to sit and enjoy yourself.“

“It was a very comfortable clean and relaxing stay. The new owners have worked hard to improve the customer experience and are love customer experience feedback to keep improving. We need more family owned businesses like this in our communities. Oh, and the food is great home cooking!“
