“Went for a late dinner after the Heidelberg October fest with my fiancé and 5 year old for the first time since the expansion. I had high expectations because we have had take out multiple times and have been pleased. We were not disappointed! We had a hot dog, Cuban sandwich, torts with salsa (AMAZING as always), tater tots and the soup special. Everything was great but the pumpkin/corn harvest chowder was phenomenal, the complexity and layers of flavors was out of this world. I am not easily impressed so I was blown away by our meal. Our server/bartender was great and went out of his way to ensure we had a stellar experience. We will be back again soon!“

“What a find! Flavorful, decorative and clean atmosphere, and very economical. Was looking for a walkable place from PPG that's good for a group and it's literally right across the street. The menu is build-your-own so everyone can get what they want (think Chipotle for Mediterranean food - but much better quality and flavor!). It's very economical too, which is rare for this area. They even brought our group free lentil soup samples that were SO good! They have a kids menu as well. Will be coming again!“

“Burgers are alright, although the onion rings are really hit or miss; sometimes they're made fresh and when they are they slap, other times they're the pre-made frozen style and they're below average.

“Not the same as it was, but the new owner is passionate and the staff is top notch. I miss some of the charm of the old vibe, but the Pub is in the hands of someone who appears to care about the place, while following her own vision. Still one of the best spots to grab a Guinness, eat a little (good) pub food and share a good conversation.“

With the deals & combos + 2/$25 we EACH had basically 2 meals in 1. PS Spinach & Artichoke dip is soo FAB! I did have a tiny glitch, sucks when you don't realize it, till your back home :( However, I called, spoke to "Miss Becky" I believe was her name, and got it ALL resolved. She's got GREAT people skills, you know, works well with the public. Pleasant. Courteous. Understanding. VERY pleased WITH entire experience. The AMOUNT of food and the ending TOTAL. App it in the WONDERFUL economy!

“Primanti Bros gets the attention, but every time I come to Pittsburgh for a game I go to Peppi's. Home of the Roethlis-burger (fantastic) Peppi's is a must visit. It's also close to Yinzer's so there's plenty of places to pick up some gear before or after you grab a sandwich. I love this place!“

I tried a very simple single smash burger.The burger came with pickles, American cheese, pickles, Simply sauce, and a potato roll. The meat itself was pretty good. I would have preferred it be a bit more juicy, and thought it was a tad over cooked, but still good.The sauce has a slight acidity to it, and was pleasant. Almost like a horseradish flavor. A good amount of sauce as well. The pickles were nice and fresh. The bun was really good, as it soaked up the meat's juices and the sauce well. Decent cheese although a bit plasticy.All in all, a solid burger place. The meat is pretty decent, good sauce, good bun, and a decent price for the portion. I'd recommend trying them; they do the simple things correctly.

“BSB's is the place to go for wings here! I used to live here about 8 years ago and moved away for that time period, but as soon as I moved back in 2023, I had to get some of their wings!The wings are just as incredible as before and their flavors are insane! The menu might look a bit intimidating with all of the crazy fun flavors, but trust me, you won't get a bad one from them! They are all so unique and different.Do yourself a favor and go to BSB's to try some of their wing flavors! Their subs are also fantastic!“

“This is the ONLY OTB we go to. Even though we live a little closer to Hastings and parking is a bear on the South Side, this location has the BEST menu. The burgers are excellent, they have amazing shrimp tacos and THE BEST FRIES WE HAVE EVER HAD. Seriously, it boggles my mind that the other locations don't have the same menu as this location.

We were told that the owner was planning to change the menu of this location to align with the other two and honestly, I think that's a huge mistake. This one is the OG and the best. PLEASE don't mess with success!“

“Such a fun diner and ice creamery! My husband and I went for ice cream the other day, and the flavors were out of this world— you have to get the key lime!! A few days later after attending an event at Scoops, we were able to try their food! We ordered a Greek Quesadilla and a Gyro, and it was incredible!!!! The veggies were so fresh, meat was cooked perfectly, and presentation was great. 100/10 would recommend!!“
